  Our sectional and ottoman from Sofas for Less was delivered in Dec. 2021, and looked awful. I was told by ***** to email pictures to the store's email address *********, the owner, could take care of us. initially, we were told we would get a new sofa and ottoman. The owner changed his mind and had them recovered instead. Problems: 1. Frames on ottoman and sectional were not the correct height. 2. Stitching all over both pieces was single row instead of double, as it is on the floor models. 3. Cushions lost their shape within days. 4. Large gaps between corner piece and other sections. Since they had to recover everything anyway, we requested piping, which was a free option on both pieces. We also asked for each bench cushion to be made into two cushions, also a free option. When the recovered sofa and ottoman were delivered, they were worse that the originals. The gaps between the cushions had not been fixed. *** said we did not tell him there were gaps, even though I sent pictures of the gaps with my original email. The legs were still the wrong height. *** again claimed that we never told him we wanted 4" feet so we got 2" feet. The piping was not straight. The cushions again lost their shape immediately. When we went into the store to show *** pictures, he responded that he had been charged $850 to fix our furniture because the factory did not take responsibility for their poor work. He also told us that we were being unreasonable and even said, "the sofa is going to look the way it does in six month anyway so what difference does it make if it's not perfect now?" I was told that the store had a great warranty, but the owner is refusing to honor it. Now a seam has split on one of the cushions. I have emailed *** about all the issues several times and he has not responded. At this point, I want that sofa gone from my house. I tried to give the sofa to Habitat for Humanity and they declined to take it because it looks "worn out." We have only had it eight months.
