            I turned on water service but have not moved into the house. Liberty has misread the meter and wants to charge over $600 for a water bill in a vacant home. Technicians have came out to see that the water meter has not moved and determined there are no leaks at the property. Its been over a month that Ive been begging this company to adjust my bill and there response is weve escalated it, our supervisor is looking into it and they will call you back today. With no call back. I would like to move into my home but am afraid to due to this water bill not being adjusted, Im worried if they think I live there they wont adjust it. This price is more than what a home with a swimming pool would cost, this property does not have a pool. I think they are trying to charge me for all the past water usage a prior tenant had. Neighbors notified me that this is t the first time and they have had trouble with their billing as well, including being double billed for things.

            How can you live in the desert if you can’t even get ahold of the water company by phone or online. They hang up on you, they don’t call back, but are happy to come shut your water off. What kind of system makes the customer fight to pay the business. It’s insane. Exactly why utilities she be run by the government, not greedy businesses. If you plan to move to Apple valley, don’t. It’s not worth the drive, and the headache from the corrupt city here is even worse
