Horrible. Would only recommend ship smart to my worst enemies. They charge exorbinant fees, upping the ante at every opportunity--I had to pay extra fees, TWICE, to ship a carving from ****** to the ***. That is on top of paying $2600 USD up front. In addition to the extra fees, I spent additonal literal hours making calls and emails to coordinate the shipment myself and deal with customs. What am I paying these guys for again? If you deal with shipsmart, you will literally be PAYING for a stressful experience. Unreal that a business can operate this way. Terrible and not at all worthy of the BBB!

I highly recommend ShipSmart. They were professional, arrived on time to pack and pick up heirloom furniture and delivered it in perfect condition. Communication was great via email with their customer service.

I highly recommend using ShipSmart for your future moving needs. Having moved crossed country for the first time, ShipSmart was accommodating and responsive to our (many) questions and estimate updates as our move date neared. ShipSmart was unique compared to other moving companies, as they did not lock us into a minimum or maximum moving estimate, but remained flexible, waiting until after our shipment was picked up and on its way before giving us the grand total. They were able to provide immediate location updates once our shipment was on its way, and worked with reputable and professional local moving companies on both ends of our move (**********, ** to *******). All of our shipment arrived without damage, and they wrapped and unwrapped all of our furniture for extra protection. Great group to work with, during what can be a very stressful time!

I paid $100/hour for packing and all they did with clothing is stuff it in boxes so now my leather coats, purses and hats are severely wrinkled and misshape. Im extremely disappointed. I could have done better.

I had a great experience with Ship Smart. Their team picked up a collection of valuable and fragile antiques, packed and palletized them with care, and got them to me in ******* well in advance of their estimate. Pricing was fair, service was excellent, and I appreciated the responsive team.

They did a wonderful job from start to finish! I was mailing an antique cash register (that I got from my grandmother) to a grand nephew. It was being sent from ********** to ************. The 2 men who picked up the register were so very nice. I watched them wrap the item and move it to their truck. and they were so very careful with it. I would definitely use this shipping company again!

I recently shipped some household goods across the country. Ive used shippers before but this move was smaller and Ship Smart was recommended. In a rating from 1 to 10 Id give them a 15 !In previous moves the packing was haphazard and there was always some damage. Ship Smarts packaging and handling were top notch - on time, good phone contact, good price and no damage ! A home run. On a personal note - the shipment was precious cargo. My 36 year old son passed away in ********** and his brother and I packed the remnants of his life and shipped them to our home in Virginia - very personal. It was a great relief that all of his precious memories were protected in the move.Thanks Ship Smart !!!!

This company is disorganized! We had a military move and asked them at the very begin, if they will provide us with a certified weight ticket. It was important that we get this ticket in order for us to expense the cost. They said yes one will be provided but they did not even though, they kept saying they will. They all gave us a runaround. *************, *************************, and their customer support team customerservice@****************** left me on red and have not addressed my concerns. I have all my emails and call history. They have a terrible customer service team. Once they had their money, they stop caring about the customer experience. I truly regret not going with another company. My estimate was for $1500 but at the end they charged me $2550 which is crazy! But we paid it because we did add a few more items but not enough to almost double the cost. Now that we received our shipment, I believe part of the reason for the increase in the cost is the wooden pallets. These people are NOT professional. The wooden pallets are big and bulky so you will have difficulties taking them apart (tools are needed). They sent our items in 3 pallets and all the wooden frames/packing stuffings are in our backyard because we have to figure out how to 1.) take them apart and 2.) disposal. A lot of unnecessary work! I wish I could add pictures here to show how bulky the wooden frames are. My advice for anyone who wants to ship their items, DO NOT select this company because if you do, you will regret it! Shipsmart must improve their customer service experience, deliver on their promises, find a more friendly way to ship items with less packaging, and use transparency in their communications. Renaming them to ShipStupid! I wish there was a zero star review. Order number P3041-5A
