    Service request with American home shield dates back to June 2024. In short, this company has excuse after excuse not to perform the needed service. Countless emails, texts, and phone calls over a two months period were to no avail. Contacted a *** who had the same problem making contact with Turner. At the original phone response from them, I was told they were not in our area and could I wait a couple of weeks to which I agreed. At the first visit, the technician was very nonchalant and almost rude. The phone person at their company also came across very haughty. Despite my patience, consideration for their personal or company issues, I was, after two months, finally met with the realization that no one really cared, and no viable way to get in contact with them, as they just plainly didnt respond in any way. AHS also dropped the ball. After a couple of months *** likely filed our claim in the round bin, though they did refund our service payment. I called today to try my luck again; explained the situation to AHS, and that I did not want anyone from Turner in my homewho calls me to set up an appointment, non other than Turner. I again called AHS who had the temerity to tell me that I should have indicated that I did not want Turner when I placed todays earlier all, and stated that there were no other companies for this repair. Asked them to look back in their conversation recording system from my conversation, oops on them. I believe *** often hires the least costly companies to maximize profit. I get good business practices, but this is poor management. I had three policies with them totaling ~ $3000.00 annually. All are now cancelled. many reviews cite the same complaints. I have no desire to put anyone out of business. I held off making a complaint in hopes of some results from either the electric company or ***. THAT ENDED WITH TODAY. Use caution when dealing with either of these companies. I wish both well, just not on my dollar or time.

    I contracted with Turner Electric through American Home Shield when my pool pump failed. Turner Electric came out, diagnosed the pump as failed, and a few weeks later, installed a different pump. I had another pool contractor out later who looked at my pump and said, "Did Turner Electric replace that pump?" and I responded yes, why? He said because that single speed pump they replaced it with is illegal and not to code and he has seen this numerous places throughout the area where Turner Electric installed single speed pumps which have been illegal to install as replacements since 2008 and instead buys pumps from ******* to get around the law and then installs them here. They are required by Title 20 and the ********** ***************** to replace pool pumps with variable speed motors. Title 20 for pool pumps took effect January 1st 2008. This is a fraud they have perpetuated across state lines which also brings into play Wire and Mail Fraud which are both federal offenses. As a contractor with a C61/D35 license, they are required to know this. They clearly did know this which is why they went to the trouble to ordering pumps from ************************* out of *******, ** instead of somewhere locally. The National law for variable speed pool pumps didn't go into effect until July 2021. Interestingly, once this law went into effect nationally, Turner told me they stopped doing Pool stuff. They no longer had access to their fraud and so it stopped I assume. I contacted both Home Shield and Turner Electric multiple times to have the problem fixed and both of them have refused to correct their fraud. I began trying again recently and have been stonewalled by both the contractor and American Home Shield. I have proof they ordered the pump from *******. I am filing this now because I've tried for two plus years to get a resolution out of Turner and AHS.

    I already paid for the service, which they never complained, they don't get back to me First they said 3 days to get the part.It has been over 2werks, they don't even return my calls, they don't lete know if the part is in, or the status of the order.

    Good Morning.  We advised customer that if the part was not available at the warehouse that we would have to order.  Due to covid not knowing when the part will come in we placed the order from our warehouse.  the warehouse will contact us when part is in.  Warehouse was unable to give us an arrival date and time.  Advised the customer.  Sorry for the inconvenience!  We will contact customer when part is in.
