5/26/2022 They worked on my car brakes, back brakes replacing the shoes and drums and then a few weeks later the adjusted the back brakes again. I was charged over $ 200.00 dollars. I went to visit Family in ****** CA my back brakes stated to lock up.i had to take my car to a shop in ****** CA it cost me $635.00 dollars to have my back redone all because of there failure to DO THE JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. Then they had the nerve to offer me $200.00 dollars as repayment for the problem they caused. I would like for them to repay me $600.00 for what I had to payout @ the ****** shop.

    08/09/2022

    Hello ******,

Below is the history and breakdown, we have every visit documented in our POS records.
First visit from this customer was on 04/5/2022, with 251,435 miles on the vehicle, all we replaced was drums at the time and adjusted brake shoes.
On 05/26/2022 with 266,835 miles we installed new brake shoes.
On 07/25/2022 we refunded the customer $216.44 as per customer satisfaction only, at this point the vehicle now had 268,405 miles. At this point we were past our 12 month or 12,000 warranty.

For whatever reason (unknown), the customer had their vehicle serviced elsewhere. In the documents from the other repair shop, there is no documentation as to why they performed the service that they completed and there are no notes stating that we did anything incorrect with the service that we performed. Yet as a customer satisfaction we refunded the customer most of what we charged from the services we completed, without getting our old parts back and after the warranty had expired.

Our warranty guidelines are clear on the invoice that we provide to the customer. We have already honored a refund of $216.44 that the customer agreed to.

    Please advise.

    Regards,

    ******* ********
