  I hired Gutierrez Gardening (owner ****** and brother *****) for lawn care about 17 months ago. I agreed to pay them $100 per month payable on the first Monday of each month. I became increasingly dissatisfied with their work. On the second Monday of October 2022 I gave ***** $50 (for the first Monday and that day, the second Monday) and told him to take the last two weeks off and return on the first Monday. ****** and ***** then left without working on my yard, and they never returned. During February 2023 I confronted ***** and said that they owed me $25 because they did not do the work for that day (the second Monday). *****'s response was he did not remember that day. I think he was lying. I have not talked to him since that day. My complaints are: _ They stole my $25 dollars and I want that money back. _ They have California license CA 445574 on the door of their truck. That license number belonged to another person and it expired in 1989. _ They do lawn work on the two properties next to my property, and I've seen ***** blow leaves, pine needles, etc. from those two properties onto my property. _ When they worked for me ***** would blow leaves, pine needles, etc. under my shrubs instead of cleaning them up. _ When he would blow off my patio he carelessly blew the dirt and other stuff onto my patio screen door. It was left to me to clean my screen door. _ When I hired them I asked ***** if they would cut my grass down to about one inch. He refused ***** told me his brother ****** does not speak English so ***** does all the talking. He is deceptive, will lie if it suits him, he's sloppy, if he moved something in my yard he never put it back where I had and wanted it, Sincerely, **** *********
