On 11.18.24 I paid the company USD Auto Logistics (***** *****) a $100 for the service of shipping my car from ******* to *********** for $400 ($300 upon delivery). The agreement was from them to pick up my car at 2pm on 11.22.24 and delivery it to ***********. 30 mins before the agreed upon time slot I received a call from USD stating that they could no longer deliver my car for the price of $300 as the truck driver broke down and they now would need to charge me $700 upon delivery. I stated that I could not do that price and the dispatch agent asked to give him 15 mins to see if they could find someone cheaper, if not they would proceed with my refund. The dispatch driver called me back and told me that they wasnt able to find another driver that was willing to do it lower than $700, if I wanted to proceed with that they will put up $100. I explained to the agent that no it was okay just proceed with the refund and I will find another company as that was not what was agreed upon in our contract. The agent said okay and he would start the refund process as it would take a few days. I assumed this would be the end of it and I receive my refund in a few days. This was not the case as they never processed the refund and when I inquire about it they told me they could not refund me because I decided to book through another company which only happen due to USD attempting to extort me out of an additional $400 from the agreed price in the contract and due to their truck driver breaking down. Upon further investigation, this company has a history of telling potential customers one price and once its time fire pick up they double their price which is an unfair practice. USD Auto Logistics stated multiple times that I would receive fun but that did not happen. They also stated that if I found someone cheaper I could go with them which I did.

I requested a car transportation from ********** to ***** and was quoted $750 total by this broker, when the car arrived broker changed the contract with driver stating that my card did not go thru and that I needed to pay $1000 at delivery which is a lie I zelled broker never gave him a card to charge. Also received threatening messages which I have proof, and advice driver not to deliver vehicle, driver forwarded me all the messages . My contract state 750, 100 as deposit and 650 at delivery which the driver agreed to because the initial contract stated 350 where gonna be paid by broker which makes no sense, I also have proof. I started calling the company information that was sent by email and it turns out this **** and ***** are using false contracts and fraudulent information in legal companies that do exist. I called the companies and they are aware of this scams.

Quoted $650 to transport vehicle. Paid 100$ deposit to whom I now see is the listed owner, but was told he was the driver when asked to give him the deposit.**************************************************************************************** BBB **************************************** Mx. *******************, Owner Contact Information Principal Mx. *******************, Owner Customer Contact Mx. *******************, Owner I was contacted by the person who claimed to be the driver the day of the transport saying he was unable to come transport. Then by the alleged broker stating he would find another driver as the one I paid (the owner listed above through Venmo) was in a crash. Then he sent many other prices all of which were higher than what I was quoted! I refused and requested a refund due to services not being rendered to no avail. So its my opinion this is one person the ******************* posing as the broker, getting money for deposits, actually brokering loads here and there to remain licensed and then price gouging stranded people with nowhere to turn but to pay him, and if you dont pay the higher prices he steals your deposit.

I am trying to get my car towed that I have purchased, it is inoperable and needs to be towed to my shop to be fixed and ready to drive. I contracted this tow company to do so for me. They quoted me 250$s, in the contract it says my car is inoperable. I sent in a 100$ deposit as requested by the company. The 19th of July is when the towing is supposed to take place. The driver is an hour away from the spot and Im now being told he refuses to do the job for lower than 500$s. This is not what I was quoted and is in fact double the price originally told. I am being told by their representative that because the driver was already dispatched (despite raising the price without confirmation from me first.) that I cannot receive my 100$ deposit back. In the invoice it confirms my car is inoperable. Which stated in the terms and conditions that the price is to be adjusted accordingly. Yet my quote was still stated to be 250. The driver was dispatched knowing this information and then after dispatching a driver raising my price and telling me they need my confirmation to proceed with the delivery. I signed and agreed to pay the agreed 250, not double the price. They said they had a driver assigned, which agreed to the quote and now my price is raised day of. Is there something to be done about this or am I effectively screwed out of money?

We are transport brokers, we quote the price to the customer by checking it from the National load board Central Dispatch, however due to uncertain market conditions the carriers sometimes ask for the price higher than what we offer them, we told this situation to the customer, but he wasn't trying to understand that.
He told us on call to send the driver for the Revised price but later said no on text, we had already assigned a driver to them and according to the contract once the driver is assigned, we have to pay the dry run fee to the driver for this case.
