Friday 09/02 ***** showed up at approximately 10:30 am and checked the freeon level and said it was low. I asked why is it low. He said It's not uncommon for this old of a system to run low on freeon. He added Freeon/R-22 and said he has confidence this will solve the problem. He never check the system for any leaks. Monday 09/05 system stop blowing cold air and the system froze up again. I called both numbers and left messages. ***** showed up at 1:30 pm. parked infront of the driveway and never came out of his Truck and left at approximately 1:35 pm. Called and asked what happen? No response until early evening syaing he needed to send another Technician. Tuesday 09/06 or 09/07/2022 afternoon another technician showed up, no call, no text and said he was there to check the system. He said it needed a new coil and ***** will call . He never called or any messages as of 09/14. Wednesday 09/14/2022 I called ***** and sent an e-mail asking to discuss the bill. Friday 09/16, ***** called me and said he's willing to move foreward with the repair today? He's Not willing to reduce his fee and said we can settle for $500.00 I asked him to send me a bill. He sent me a revised bill for $$530.00. On 09/16/20.22 and if I didn't pay in 7 days he would send me to collections. He sent me another revised bill for $580 on 09/19/2022. Business response

    12/13/2022

Mr. ***** was there at the time of service when we had performed the leak sealer the refrigerant recharge repairs. He signed and agreed to my invoice before work had started. He paid for the job once completed. We did have a little delay in our call scheduling. This is due to our work overload, but we still did not deny service. Then he had change of heart, and decided to use someone else.

    Customer response

    12/14/2022

I am rejecting this response because: He failed to diagnose the A/C system correctly and performed services that didn't correct A/C system, and should of never added freon to appease me for 24 hours.
I paid $585.00 and had nothing repaired. He put freon into a syatem because it was low on freon. I asked why is the system low on freon and where did the freon go? ***** stated quote" It's not uncommon for this old of a system run low on freon" and  ***** said quote  " I have complete confidence that this will resolve the problem." How could he make such false and inaccurate statements
Your A/C system will never run low on freon unless it has a leak/breach somewhere in the system. He should of never added freon to a A/C system that was low on freon without fixing the leack/breach in the system 1st.. And ***** charged me for a under the home inspection of the air ducts and I never got a report or information of his findings.

The A/C system needed to be be replaced and couldn't be repaired. The A/C freon coil was un-repairable. This was the correct diagnoses, Not adding freon to the syatem that was unrepairable.

I was taked to the cleaners for $585.00 when all I sould of been charge for a diagnoses only.

How many other clients/customers has he done this to? I am sure I'm not the 1st or the last. He should not be able to conduct business in this manner with being held accountable.
