Awful Experience - Highly Recommend Avoiding This Business I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my terrible experience with A Better Bid. If I could give zero stars, I would. This business is everything you hope to avoid: deceptive, untrustworthy, and riddled with hidden fees. From the start, the lack of transparency was glaring. The website provided minimal information and failed to disclose crucial details about their services. You will only be hit with numerous additional fees that were never mentioned upfront. Its clear they use these hidden charges as a way to boost their profits at the expense of unsuspecting ************ make matters worse, their customer service was nonexistent. When I tried to address the discrepancies and get some clarity, I was met with vague responses and outright dishonesty. It felt like they were deliberately trying to confuse me to avoid addressing their mistakes.I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with A Better Bid to think twice. There are plenty of reputable companies out there that value transparency and honesty. Save yourself the hassle and frustrationavoid this place!

Let me begin by saying this was my first visit to A Better Bid as a noobie. I've never participated in an auction before anywhere. I think that ****** needs to be held partially responsible as well as I got the referral from their "my account" on their website. I found the car that I wanted to do a purchase experiment with. As a noobie, I spent most of my time evaluating cars and such as to make a good purchase. I didn't know I had to read all the small print, bylines, background, check BBB, Scam reports on the broker I was using as well. ****** learned. I got a buy-now car so cheap that I was celebrating. Well, it didn't last before A Better Bid ended my celebration. When I received the bill it was 3 times the amount I bidded. In other words, I could have bought the car 3 times. What kind of business is this where you get charged for every nut and bolt on a car? I was charged a broker fee, a CoPart fee, a fee to access the car from the auction yard, a gate fee, a transaction fee, and on and on. The customer service agents just say that it is "on the website". All the charges are listed "on the website". Then they said that there is a fee calculator. I'm a newbie, I didn't know that. Perhaps they should have a video when you become a new member to watch as a part of being a newbie to the auction experience. They'll probably say "there's a video". Any who, I knew there were fees I would pay them but I didn't know about all the others. I decided to still get the car. Mind you I paid to also have the car transported, so that I wouldn't run into any other drama. I woke up this morning and got a bill for storage of the vehicle $5. Apparently, they give you two days to buy and remove the vehicle. Well, you know I spent a whole day arguing with A Better Bid about all the fees soooo. Now I got to count on them to remove the vehicle in a timely fashion. I not excited about that!!

These guys are the worst i have placed a bid for 1000 bugs and it went to 3950. They say it is prelimit in the car and cannot do anything. I want to show the proof they said they cannot accept it from their end.

Their business is bad their customer service is bad. They have extra charges they add that cost more than what you may wanna purchase. The whole experience was upsetting. And I wasn't able to cancel anything once I realized the extra invoice. I immediately requested a refund and for them to call me out of any business or services they had to offer. I explained numerous times that I wasnt able to afford the car anymore once the extra invoice was added when I tried to buy the car completely through buy it now. I intended on paying the full price but they only took 400$ claiming that I needed a deposit, that's when the other invoice popped up that was twice the amount of the vehicle, at that point I didn't have enough money to complete the purchase and requested a refund and for them to cancel any business that I thought I wanted to do. Now they are trying to say I have to pay 600 or 10% whichever is greater to cancel the lot. All I want is my money back I feel they should add a extra for the inconvenience, time, and for baiting me in by falsely advertising prices that are tripled when done. Their fees are ridiculously outrageous and overpriced. They fucked my whole experience trying to purchase a car online
