    Company is unresponsive to my request for a warranty claim.I am unable to file a claim under the 1-year warranty for a Bonavita Coffee Maker I purchased in June 2024. It stopped working properly and is now useless. I've cleaned it as it states to do so in the owner's manual but that did not resolve the problem. I contacted the company using their online contact form, email, and phone. I received one email from them telling me to clean the coffee machine which I already stated that I had done. I emailed them back with that information and have heard nothing. Their online form on their website does not work - it says "Form over Quota".

    Ordered a coffee maker and never had any feedback from the company (no confirmation emails or any communication about the order, no tracking information). Company did not respond to my emails. Voicemail only on phone call. They did not respond to an email sent from Amazon (used Amazon Pay). A week later the coffee maker showed up. I had ordered from another company as I had no idea what was going on. Seeking a refund with the company paying for the return shipping.

    **** used Apple Pay on our website and his email set up with his Apple Pay account is different from the email address he used for the order he placed with Bonavita. He claimed he never got any order status or shipping info after 3 days of waiting.  All of the email communication was sent to him as it's automated with our system. It went to the email he provided, but not the email address he was checking (also could have gone in spam). We received his order on Feb 10 and he received the shipment on Feb 16th. In that time frame, when he thought we just took his money, he filed a chargeback with his bank and reached out to the BBB. He did not actually contact us to see what was going on at that time. He did end up calling us after he submitted the complaints and we spoke on the phone. We did clear everything up and we explained the confusion. He agreed to reverse the charge back with his bank.At the time, we did not know about him contacting the BBB. Since we received the mailed letter after the response time passed, we reached out to him re: the BBB complaint and he agreed to also reach out to you and recall the complaint. We do have that in writing. He kept his product and is all set.

    While attempting to file a warranty claim, the Bonavita website would not allow me to download the purchase order from Amazon. This prevented me from filing a claim.

    ****** tried to submit a warranty claim on our website. One of the required fields is proof of purchase. He purchased his Bonavita product on Amazon and seemed to think he could access his Amazon account THROUGH our online form. This is not accurate. The field requires a screenshot or PDF of the receipt. It does not TAKE YOU to your Amazon account. Since he thought he couldnt access his account and get the receipt, be blamed us for him not ***** able to submit the claim. Once we got the BBB letter, we reached out to ****** to let him know how the website works and if he wants to complete the warranty form, we are happy to help him. He has not responded. This was not the fault of Bonavita, but rather user error.
