Im in the middle of trying to refi my home. During the process title finds a judgement from Pella attached to me. this stopped our progress. This judgement for $11,500 was filed over 9 years ago. This is the 1st I heard of ******* was about to fall off in a couple months. I make contact with Pella in effort to resolve this issue. I expressed the urgent nature of needing resolution. They make zero effort to help resolve it and get this paid. Instead ******** in accounting is extremely rude and short and obviously was taking this personal. Anyway Octobe 1st 2023 rolls around, Pella making no attempt to settle this matter. I default on my balloon payment that was due Oct 1st 2023. This cost me $24,000 as a penalty from my lender. Along with $75. A day and 21% interest until the loan is satisfied. Quickly diminishing any equity we currently have in the property. The lender will not take any payments and now we are 60 days late and cant get a lender to refi the property. Now the property is in huge danger of being foreclosed on. Over an $11,500 judgement. Pella has an attorney firm lanak&hanna with a ****************************** assigned to the case. He asks me what would I like to offer Pella & see if they accept. I offer 50% $5763. days go by & he says Pella will accept $12,500 so I assume Pella wants full payment plus interest. I email back asking them to please reconsider my offer I list how this is impacting me. He writes back accusing me of lying to him, playing games, & bullshitting him and how he did me a favor getting them to settle for $12,500. 50% I reply apologetic that something must be crossed. I thought the judgement was for $11,526. He says dont play games with me. U expect me to believe u have the judgement from 10 years ago & never seen the new one for ****** I said no. He went on accusing me belittling me. Only to find out on Oct 5th after I contacted Pella to settle they refiled adding $12,500 in interest. All this verbal abuse accusations telling me not to play games. they know 100% I never seen this. It was never served to me. This whole time playing games themself at my expense. Im about to loose this property. *************************** ends up telling me he controls what Pella will accept so I better be careful of my demands. As I demanded an apology.

In June of 2023, we purchased Windows and Installation in excess of $75,000. Issue (1) We were told of a 24 month payment option with 0% financing, which my husband and I requested--and were told by the sales rep that we could choose this option up to the day of delivery of the product. We have yet to be given the financing package to initiate the payments. (We have REQUESTED this multiple times with no answer.) Instead we have been turned over to a collection agency with a LIEN now in process. Issue (2) We were sold sliding glass windows to have interior screens, after delivery we were informed they do not exist, and would receive a credit for 3 screens. We have not received a credit. Issue (3) They installed the WRONG window in the kitchen, it does not open with a screen--we need the correct window ordered and installed. We have tried to get a resolution to this issue and can't get anyone to return an email or a phone call--the company went directly to a collection agency.

On April 25th 2023 a payment of $8,911.49 was paid to Pella Windows for installation/purchase of two sliding doors (1 interior and 1 exterior). It was discover during installation May 11th 2023 that the interior door does not meet *** specifications for two individuals living in the household. The sales rep claims he did not know we had *** individuals. I have not spoken to a supervisor yet but Pella reps have not been willing to resolve this without me paying full price for a door I cannot use. I would like the interior door removed and it's cost removed from my invoice.

I have purchased 20 windows and two sliding Patio doors about two and half years ago from this company worth close to $17,000 for my house. The patio doors are poorly made and defective. Pella has refused to replace both of them even though they are under 5 years warranty. About several months ago, after multiple contact with them, they charged me $150 for inspection, and attempted to replace one of them, I was told by their installer to live with the other defective patio door and get used it.For the past several months, they have made multiple appointments to replace the bad one. On the first attempt, they replaced the defective patio door with another defective one, but, promised to be back.Since then, they have kept making new appointments, but either show up with another defective patio door or simply not showing up or call to cancel the appointment.

I contracted Pella to replace existing windows on my Primary home. I signed a contract in September of 2021. The value of the contract was around $18,000. Pella was contracted to install 10 new windows and complete the exterior trim. After a few months went by I contacted Pella to understand when the installation would occur. I was promised that I would be contacted after just a few weeks and that didnt happen. I was then told the installation would not occur unitl February 2022, which was not communicated orginally when I signed the contract. In February, the installation started. A crew was sent to my home that consisted to two men that did not speak or understand English. I communicated the best I could with them. They did nothing to protect or clean up the home during or after the install. My home is over 100 years old and most likely contains lead paint. I was promised at the begining of this contract that Pella would carefully protect and setup barriers to protect any lead paint contanmination. That never happend. Nor did the crew clean up after themsevels. I spent hours cleaning up.The two man crew was not able to complete the job and several other crews were sent out. I was told this would be a 2 day install on the contract. It turned into 7 over a period of 3 months. When they finally completed the job at the very end of April, the aluminium trim that was used was a completely different color than what was outlined on the contract.I called Pella **************** to try to resolve this issue. I will now have to spend extra time and money to match the rest of my windows, which was work Pella was contracted to complete.I have, for the most part, been ignored by the Sales team. I've made repeated calls only to be given the run around. Pella has already contacted the finanacing company so they can collect the money owed on the contract. This dispute has not been resolved and I'm expecting some type of refund from the mistakes made by Pella.
