  Dear BBB,Around October 2021 a plumber from Americal replaced my tub spout but did a poor job and ultimately caused a slow leak from my unit down to my downstairs neighbors. My neighbor let me know of this issue April 2022 in which there was mold in some spots and damaged bathroom ceiling and walls. I was responsible for the payment which was 550. My HOA also charged me 285 (originally 443) for the plumber to come out and inspect the leak. Ameri-Cal paid for the first expense for $550 for wall damage repair and spout repair/replacement, but failed to reply to our multiple emails regarding covering the fee sent from my HOA/ plumbing company. This leak was solely caused from the poor job of the plumber sent from the company. Please see attached invoice, pictures of update invoice amount, drywall damage, and more with this complaint. Essentially we are asking for $285 reimbursement from Ameri-Cal due to their poor spout job which they should be responsible for.
