Horrible business practices, unethical and frauds!Papps owes me $5470.50 I got my bank involved & even considering options. Crazy, all for $5470.50!I understand an agreement w/ an auction house (******** AUCTIONEERS), but Papps appears to run their business thru **! This is like the diamond/**************** in downtown *********** - they certainly are not a small estate sale selling nana's jewels!! Sketchy AF!Expressing my concern of authenticity w/ Jack @ Papps wrote: We would recommend taking to an appraiser not a jewelry for verification services ! Every diamonds is authenticated and tested by advance lab equipment ...*His typos and recommendations did not appear professional. Big trigger in scam 101!!They never sent the product, I insisted to cancel sale, they came back and offered a bigger diamond (who does that??). **** got fiery and said face it, you want to get out of this. I said, H*** yes I do!!! Insisting a refund, Live Auctioneers got involved and said, "Papps said they were refunding". Papps generated a *** label & then cancelled that label or shipment (don't know what they were sending, ** suggested perhaps it was a check). Oddly, email from ** states refund to my bank account which is not how I paid. No package/check/refund. **** suggests this is a tactic to buy time.Papps has over **** auctions with **, with over 100 items (guess) at ea auction. That's a lot of fees being paid to **! Papps runs weekly auctions & when I searched my exact item I won, well it's up for auction again! Coincidence? This transaction suggests otherwise. Q: Am I part of this jewelry diamond scam where these are lab made diamonds?Q: Is there such thing as a ****** bidder? ( I'd love to see historical data when I actually pressed to BID button, as it was 5 seconds AFTER the auction had passed, which surprised me! )Q: How much did ** make off of Papps in the last 6 yrs? 30 days+, no refund. read responses below, the defense is childlike.Papps Family Liquidation Response

Hi ******,One, we did not offer you a bigger diamond. Your claims are completely ridiculous. We were providing you a GIA ********* diamond, you wanted to cancel the sale. We were mailing out a refund in full, however you went ahead and disputed the charge. We do not sell lab grown diamonds without expressly stating at such. In order to get out of the sale, you did everything possible. We make it a point to provide GIA ********* diamonds whenever possible to prevent any such issues. Your item was ready to ship however, you expressly told us not to ship the package and cancel the sale which we did per your request.Review from Thomas B

Papps does not take responsibility for its jewelry pieces. We are very disappointed with the business practices of Papps Family Liquidation. For months, we have been pointing out the defects in the jewelry sent to us, even through our lawyers. The PAPPS appraisals from ******************* Services for the jewelry are worthless; a relevant expertise is not substantiated. Papps concept is to produce the jewelry modularly by Papps suppliers after the auction. The images in the auction depict the originally created pieces of jewelry. We, as customers, receive only copies of them. The quality of these copies cannot be independently verified by Papps or its owners. Despite our numerous attempts to contact them and providing qualified evidence of the defects, the owner of Papps is playing for time. We are determined to fight for our rights, with the support of our lawyers.Papps Family Liquidation Response

When you received the items and had them initially checked, you had no issues with the items, now after 6 months you are claiming them as counterfeit. This is a completely outrageous claim, your items came *** ********* and you are stating the items to be lab-grown counterfeit merchandise. The diamonds rings that you had won, came with *** certificates, were laser inscribed and the *** certificates were also accompanied when shipped. But you claiming that we provided you lab-grown diamonds. You are trying to harm our company and damage our reputation intentionally by stating that we gave you fake merchandise and we have been in touch with your lawyers and have not been playing for time at all. We make it a point to ensure that what we state is what you receive and intentionally damaging our reputation to extort money out of us is not right.Review from Gary V

If could give a lower score than one I would. I Purchased some earrings for my wife never got a tracking number. They never answer their phone then Their voicemail is full. Ive emailed him several times and get no answer. Tried talking with live auctioneers and they cant seem to do anything. Its no wonder theyre not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Fool Me once shame on you, so I wont be back, and I have filed a complaint with my bank. Hopefully I can get my money back. Just remember, God knows you might be able to cheat me, but at least I can sleep at night.Review from Royce T

We are not ignoring the customer, we have sent over photos and videos with proof of packaging and drop off. Furthermore, the customers item was shipped on 5/1/2023 and delivered on 5/2/2023. The customer contacted ** three weeks later saying that the item was not in the box. Regardless of the time frame, we asked for a video and photos which the customer has still not sent **. We are still trying to help resolve this issue and can file a claim with ***** but we have to have the initial information from the customer to do so.Papps Family Liquidation Response

I purchased 3 items through the auction site called invaluable. I received 2 items and was missing the most expensive one. After contacting the company I was told the item will ship that week. It's been 3 weeks and have not received a tracking number, the item, or any response to my emails. Also , the items received were not as described/pictures so beware. Read the other reviews. I'm filing a credit card charge and even contacting a lawyer to deal with the situation .Papps Family Liquidation Response

What a scam! Pure Junk! I purchased something through their auction on 12/25. I contacted them many times because it was a gift for a 1/22 wedding. They say they ship in 7-10 business days which would have been fine. They kept saying they were sending it. I filed a dispute with my credit card and while this is going (3 weeks later) I get the package from them. BUT guess what??? It isn't what I purchased, wrong gold color and besides that - the magnification on it must have been x100. It went back today. I will never purchase anything from them again.Papps Family Liquidation Response

The customer bought the item which has a total ctw of 0.36 cttw. This would clearly mean that the gemstones would not be that big. The item weight, quality, and color are clearly listed. The delay was due to a COVID outbreak. The gold color was accurate the customer returned the item and the item was cancelled.Customer Response

What I purchased was WHITE GOLD, not YELLOW GOLD and THAT is why I was able to get my money back. Good try! PEOPLE BEWARE.
