I need to add to my policy. They made multiple mistakes on the policy. They promised it would be done in 24 hours and it's been a week. I'm going to lose a big job because of there failure to produce a policy. They don't pick up the phone or respond to emails.

First let me start out by saying, I’ve used Target for a couple of years for my business’s liability insurance and its gone without a hitch. Initially my renewal this year went smoothly, but my local Reginal department rejected my certificates, stating they required a new endorsement. I left my agent a message and forwarded him the email with the new requirements. I heard nothing for two business days. I called and left an additional message and heard nothing for almost a week. Finally, I got ahold of Matt, he was apologetic saying he was out of the office. I explained that I needed my policy to be updated to be able to pull permits, that everyday that I don’t have this policy I lose money, can we please get it updated today. He told me it wasn’t a problem, and he transferred me over to his certificated department to leave a message. That was three weeks ago, I still don’t have an updated policy, even though I paid for the policy in full and contacted the office several times. I’ve since gone to a new insurance company, who requires a loss run report to finish the application. Once again, I needed to call Target Insurance, as this is something only they can provide. I’ve called twice and spoke to two different individuals in the account department and asked if they could please provide me with this, they said sure it’s not a problem. Yet it’s been over a week, and I still don’t have it. I’ve now had to sign a change form for Record of Agents to even get new quotes as Target has blocked my ability to receive quotes from other companies. It’s been a complete nightmare with no communication, no apologies, no explanations, just radio silence. 15 years of being in business we have never filed a claim and as a small business owner, every day that I don’t work cost me time and money and keeps multiple families without work just before the holidays.

I sought an insurance quote from a broker. A representative, Matt, from Target represented an insurance quote and never mentioned anything about a loan or financing the insurance premium, However, I later received a notice that I had agreed to a loan and a finance charge. This is a blatant false representation. A company cannot represent one thing and then present paperwork for something entirely different. That is a false representation. I am about to file fraud charges for the scam that was pulled on me. I just received notice that I allegedly agreed to "finance" the insurance premium I recently picked up for my company. ************ Again, I was specifically provided a quote for a premium, a down payment, and a monthly fee. Nowhere in our conversation was there any mention of loan, interest for a loan, or the like. NOWHERE! I was verbally presented and it was represented as an insurance quote with an initial payment followed by monthly payments, not a loan. This is standard. I would never finance my insurance payments. NEVER. I would pay the entity up front if that was my only other option. Now I am surprised and disappointed that I received a misrepresentation like this. Normally, I would immediately move to fire any entity that conducted such business practices and file complaints to be followed up on. And a warning. If my credit was affected, I will pursue a criminal complaint. I am moving forward with filing complaints with the insurance commissioner, the BBB, and a criminal complaint for fraud. I trust this can be resolved in a reasonable manner. ***** ********** ****** **** ******* *** ************

Yes, Target solves the matter and showed themselves exemplary. How a company resolves issues is a testament to their integrity and commitment to excellence. Target did well and I would recommend them to anyone in the market.
