    Unfair practice when cancelling the service due to excessive price increase. I cancelled the service on 12/18/2024 and they are insisting I pay for another month of service since my billing date is 12/16/2024 even though I won't receive the bill until on or about 12/26/2024. This is excessive gouging by their company. At most, I should be required to pay for only two days. And, I was of the assumption that the end of service contract was 12/18/2024, as it was with *******, which was the company I made the contract with initially, two years ago.

    I have canceled my service several weeks ago I was told I was going to receive an immediate refund on a Friday which never happened I called back I was told I would receive a refund within 7 to 10 business days it never happened and now it's been 2 weeks and 2 days business days and I still am on the phone trying to recover my money this business is horrible and I would like some type of action or resolve for my suffering over this account. ********************** I would not suggest this company to anyone who would have to go through such a hassle to receive a refund when their service clearly did not work and was repeatedly called and told about the service and was brought out a new box and it still did not work poor service.

    I wish I could leave zero stars. I canceled a few months after installation. They had poor internet quality, a weak signal, and no support from ***************** They only wanted to "upsell" additional "peak minutes". I attempted to speak with someone on the phone when I canceled regarding the fee. I took their survey and indicated the reason (non-performance). They never responded to two emails from me. A year later they sent me to a collection agency. Again, I sent a detailed explanation regarding their horrible product and non-performance. It makes no sense for them to attempt to collect a $275 fee when their product, in effect, did not work. As bad as their product is, the customer service is worse.

    I called to cancel service a week ago. I was told by 3 different agents that the account (my elderly fathers) account wouldnt be charged another month. Well guess what.I check the bank account this morning and they took it out anyway. I still have yet to call and get refunded, and if they do not Ill be contacting the bank and disputing the charges.

    Back in 2021 I cancelled my internet service with ViaSat because my Internet wasnt working most days. I was instructed to return the equipment which I did. Now three years later when I filed my tax return I discovered that $1,000 had been deducted and I was told that ViaSat took that amount. Ive been unable to speak with anyone at ViaSat because when I call their automated system recognizes my number, says my account has been sent to collections and then drops the call. I contacted the collection agency which recently sent me a letter saying I owe an additional $722, but they just said they would reach out to ViaSat when I made them aware of how I cancelled my via sat three years ago and how recently I had that 1000 dollar deducted from my tax refund. I dont understand how they can charge me like this after I followed all their instructions. They have never picked up the satellite dish they installed on my roof. If I werent disabled I wouldve removed it myself and returned it but I cant do that. I dont know what Im being charged for or how to stop the charges. What can I do to resolve this?

    Terrible company. I called and recorded the conversation letting know the rep I was recording it..,I had been waiting for a month for a new device that will give me unlimited Wi-Fi at $**? Which it should have got at my place in 7 days…what I was quoted with the agent when we talkedThe rep quoted and read all disclosures…in fact the agent confirmed they had the order but the device was still on the warehouse. Per not having the device, my account went over and when I asked for a reimbursement of the overage which was just $30. they didn’t even want to credit this small amount and were willing to go to court for it….its quite depressing their customer service. I haven’t file the motion yet but it’s sad to see the way the issues are being pile up instead of fix (per the chat here.

    I've called several times for this service, the original sales guy quoted me a price and when the tech came my bill was going to be $50 higher. So I called customer service and this is the worst customer service ever! The guy was completely rude and put me on hold for 20 mins then I hung up called back and the same guy answered and put me on hold again, 18 mins this time before I gave up. The very nice tech guy that was waiting at this point had another appointment so he cancelled for me. I tried calling back today, the following week, and got the same cust service guy! He told me to go with another service! What?! He never said his name and never answered the phone like a professional so I can't even report him! I was going to give this service another chance hoping to get another representative but I guess they don't want to make any sales. I hope that whoever owns this company looks into the phone recordings. Absolutely do not even bother calling this company for service. If it's this way trying to sign up I can't imagine what it would be like for a customer already with them.

    Absolutely terrible internet services especially for the cost. Was able to set up immediately but to cancel takes weeks. Very sketchy.

    We own a small business in the ************, ** area and we were looking to switch our internet service from ******** to another operator. When calling around we came across Viasat who could provide the service via satellite. We told the sales *** when we were looking for service that we could not have a delay due to our hair stylists needing the internet up to run their credit card charges. Well, it only took one week for the internet to go down and when I called to restore the customer service *** stated we would be down for one week. This resulted in lost income for the salon and our stylists resulting in us cancelling the service and restoring back up with Spectrum to resolve.Viasat has the nerve to charge us $500 for an early termination when we were the ones losing out on income. Can we sue Viasat for the lost revenue?
