    Unethical in so many ways. The representative at the urgent care center who fitted my son with a wrist brace, handed me a carbon copy lengthy contract which was not filled out. There were blank spaces for the product costs. They essentially made me sign a contract to pay any amount they make up later. They also did not offer me one of the carbon copies of the contract. I took a picture of it with my phone. They did not contact me for two months, and then sent me a text message with incomplete account information. I called the number on the text and gave them a corrected address for invoice, and they didn't update it. I called back a month later, today, and had to give my address to the representative (foreign accent) 3 times. She could not even repeat my zip code back to me correctly after two tries! There was no way I was going to attempt a credit card number, so I asked for my account number to pay it on their online portal. She had to repeat the account number 3 times to get it right, calling a 4 when she meant 1, and a 5 when she corrected to 7. My son hated the brace and we had a comfortable one shipped overnight from Amazon at 1/5 the cost overnight. I thought I could trust my local urgent care but I will review them and recommend they stop working with Breg. Overall, the cost wasn't that unreasonable, but the business practices are all unethical and unprofessional.

    I suffered a third degree ankle sprain and was given a boot by my medical provider. Breg charged me $425 for the boot which is available on ****** for $87. Absolutely ridiculous to mark up a medically necessary accessory by over 4 times what it's worth. The bill also arrived months after the incident happened. With families struggling to afford groceries right now, I find this to be really bad business.

    Months later we received our first bill with a warning that it would go to collections if we didn't pay. And they told us they don't bill auto insurance. Not a client friendly company!!

    This company is a scam. I was charged $165.65 for a wrist brace when the same product is selling ~$25 on ******. The ironic part is that the $165.65 is the preferred insurance rate. Without insurance is over $300. Anyone with moral would know charging 10 times more is unethical. I called the company and was told there is nothing they can do. No wonder our health care cost is so high because of these greedy companies trying to make a killer profit. Please do not support this company.

    Account number is *******. Amount bill to insurance was $315. After insurance, my responsibility is $164.64. Regardless whether I have insurance or not, the amount Breg charged was outrageously high.

    Got surgery in 2023 and all of a sudden I get this letter from Breg almost a year later asking for money and saying my payment is past due. Why is the first time Im hearing about the charge and the company after my supposed bill is due. What kind of scam is this

    Charging $210.00 for elbow support when same item online is ***** is absurd! I was told because insurance did not cover I had to pay what they billed them..... *********** who supplied brace could not tell me if it would be covered. Charging 3 times the amount for a product shameful! ***** did not even help. Being disabled and on a fixed income after working hard my whole life, I find this to be a major insult. And companies like this keep preying on the unfortunate reaping in major profits...." No star " rating!!! This practice needs to stop!!

    Worst company ever! Fractured my ankle in two places from an MVA. This company REFUSED to call my insurance company to speak to a *** about their payment and instead started collection proceedings on me!!! All they needed to do was place a call, get the accident info and bill insurance. They claim they dont do that!!! So, bill the healing patient, you morons!!!!

    Breg gets no stars from us. We have had a similar experience to the other emails on this site. I was given a $20 heel lift last November by my provider. Breg has been billing us for $105 ever since. We contacted our insurance company and they say don't pay it until they have processed the claim. We have made countless phone calls to Breg and to BCBS, and now Breg is threatening to turn it over to a bill collector.this is a scam!!!.

    We returned the brace due to not fitting properly. Its been a battle ever since. Our orthopedic office sent proper paperwork letting Breg know that item was returned and for 8 months they keep sending a bill. Now they say they are sending to collections. Every time I call they promise I will not get another bill and it will not go to collections but now I received a letter they are sending it to an attorney. This place really ***** at customer service. It shouldnt take this long to review the paper work that was sent in. I also have my daughters medical power of attorney to pay her bills while she is at college and she has given Breg permission for me to Handel her bill but every time I call to see if its been paid they say they cant give me any information because she is over 18. Im just trying to get a refund and my daughter has given permission. When you talk to a representative they always blame the back office for not reviewing item, then they say they will put a high priority on it but in the end nothing is getting done and when you ask to speak to a supervisor they refuse to let you speak to someone higher up who can Handel the situation quicker. At this point I may just have to pay the bill and then fight for my refund.

    Had a bill from them for a walking boot when my daughter broke her ankle. $300 for a $40 boot.I understand they need to make a profit but this is just a legal scam. I called to verify and the additional cost was explained as 'administration fees'. Utterly corrupt.
