On June 19th, 2024, an online order was placed for Drilled, Slotted and vented rotors for a 2018+ Kia ******* GT from R1 Concepts based in ********, **. Product number: WBPN2-21000. There are two vendors to purchase this product from that are accessible via the R1 Concepts website. Although it does not matter which vendor you choose, as the products are fulfilled by the R1 Concepts warehouse at ******************************************************* The June 19th Amazon Order# is: 114-0071093-5653838. The order arrived on time as promised on June 24th, 2024. As shown in the attached photos you can see that the product that arrived on June 24th were rotors that did not contain 5 lug-nut holes, did not match diameter sizing, and the rear rotors specifically did not contain vent slots as a minimum requirement of manufacturer specification, let alone be considered an "upgrade" from OEM installed equipment. I began a return through ******, it was picked up a few days later by an Amazon employee and I received a full refund for the product. Providing benefit of the doubt that it could've been a clerical or warehousing error, I again placed an order for the same product through Amazon, accessing the product via the Amazon embedded link on the R1 Concepts website. Product number: WBPN2-21000. The order was placed on July 5th, 2024, and the Amazon Order# is: 114-4948336-5706629. The order arrived on July 7th as promised. As shown in the attached photos, you can again see that the product that arrived does not contain the correct coating, contains more lug-nut holes than necessary, and again the rear rotors do not contain vent slots. A minimum manufacturer specification requirement for this vehicle make and model.

I placed an order with R1 Concepts for Front Tire Rotors that were drilled and slotted and made from Geomet material. Often not in stock, I was watching until that came in stock to order. I had heard good things and didn't mind spending the money. I placed the order on October 26, 2022. The product total was $278.10 and Shipping was $153.01 with a grand total of $431.11. (Order # **********) After putting on rotors after about a month the steering wheel started to shake. I took the van to Midas. After inspection, they found that "both rotor retainer screws holes in aftermarket front rotor did not have enough recess for retainer screws to be fully flush with hat of the rotors. This may have cause improper on point pressure on point of the rotor when lugs were tightened." (Directly from Midas ******, ****** Repair Notes) Because it was a safety issue for me to travel with my children in the car, I replaced the rotors for a total of $518.30.After contacting R1 Concepts, they said they would send me new rotors, but not a refund. I am not satisfied with this because why would I want another pair of faulty parts. I would just like a full refund for the front rotors including shipping. Also the rotor replacement cost for putting my family in danger with defective parts. A grand total of $949.41.

On 12/12/22 I bought a upgraded brake system for my jag and they told me all the parts I wad getting are upgraded parts, when I looked at my invoice they sold me stock pads, come to find out that wad the only pads in stock yet they told me this is a upgraded part, when I said I will wait until the performance pads are available I'll pay the difference and they can ship them to me, instead they canceled my order, the lady who's in charge was very unprofessional, she canceled my order and then gave me an opportunity to wait on the parts in the future, exactly what I said except I asked for her to ship me the parts and I'll pay the difference when they get them, now I missed out on a 250 discount and they gave me the same option I asked for except canceling my order, she was obviously having a bad day, anyways this company is a joke

Purchased a set of slotted rotors and pads on 04/16/2022. The pads were installed and bedded per manufacturers instructions. By early august 2022 I had put approximately 2,000-3,000 miles on the vehicle. It is not driven every day but it is not a hobby/track vehicle. I have other transportation to get to work and back. The coating on the end of the pad that contacts the brake calipers has now worn down to the point that there is approximately 1/8"-1/4" of play between the pad and the caliper. This causes the pad to float around in the caliper and make an audible clunk from the pads hitting the calipers every time I step on the brakes as well as an abnormal amount of brake squeal with no brakes applied and unconsistent brake feel. At least one of the rotors is also warped to the point the car shakes under medium braking from highway speeds but I have yet to get an official brake report from a professional shop. I plan to do this within the next week. I called R1 concepts to see what the requirements were for a warranty claim, but they said they only have a 30 day warranty on brake pads and that I would need a brake inspection report for the rotors. The car is to the point it is unsafe and I am not comfortable driving it. Considering a car's braking system is a safety system this is completely unacceptable. I would like a refund for the pads and rotors so I can replace them with a different product. I do not want any more products from R1 concepts. I will have the items shipped back to R1 concepts at their own expense after I replace the rotors and pads if they would like. In the attached video the caliper slide pins are NOT installed so the entire caliper is able to move freely with the pads. It is not possible to replicate the issue with the caliper fully installed as the pads are not accessible. This problem exists in both front calipers but the rear seems to be okay for now.

I purchased break rotors snd they were warped I brought it up to the costumer service, they asked for a report from a break shop, I provided them with the note stating breaks are warped . Do they said they would send replacements. Originally the rotors came to my apartment in ******** where I live, but they are trying to use a excuse that they have a different address, where I have never lived before, and that they sent the rotors to that address, which is a total lie, If we subpoena ***** and ask them what address the rotors were originally delivered to, they will say my address I. ********, not the other address they are trying to pull. I have been trying to reach out to them via email and now they are not answering as they think they fulfilled their obligations. Meanwhile I am driving an unsafe vehicle due to the bad costumer service and defective merchandise The emails are based on the replacement shipment I can not find the original As I originally placed my order Thru ****** , where I have my physical address registered. But R1 consorts, sent me a sepárate email snd pulled me aside of ******, now ****** can not do anything because I did not make the purchase on their website. Ps, The guy at the ********. Shop stated they do have issues with their rotors Do this is nothing new to them
