Date of Transaction: 5/29/24 Amount of money paid $737.92 XXXX is an auction business and uses software through XXXX to bid for the items a person is interested in.I was in an auction and the last item of the auction that I bid $30.00 on had a glitch in the system and more than tripled the amount of $133.00 each times 3 items. I have been in auctions with XXXX many times before and never had that problem, so within 5 minutes I was on the phone with **** the owner of the company to let him know what had happened keeping my composure.I explained to **** that the the first thing that happened was I got a message saying pending for the bid I placed which never happened before to me, so I refreshed the page to see if that would take care of the problem and when I did that I saw that the the auction price had doubled, then being puzzled again I refreshed one more time and it doubled that amount bringing the auction price to $133.00 each.**** told me that he would have to talk to XXXX which provides the auction software and he would get back to me. after 2 days of me trying to get an answer **** finally called me back and said XXXX didn't find anything wrong with the software and continued to tell me that I was the one that was responsible for those bids. Well this completely infuriated me knowing that I didn't and I got pretty rough with **** because I didn't think that it was right to charge me $309 dollars more than I bid.1. If you look at the invoice that I uploaded every item before that last item was bid from $24.00 - $28.00 and the *** I bid for the last item was $30.00 before the glitch. I don't buy on impulse, I buy on strategy.**** has not tried to resolve this as he holds me accountable for the bids even after calling him immediately when the glitch happened. AuctionSale-67-LOTSOFASSORTEDITEMS Bidder #*** Invoice#: 1897 I am asking for $309.00 back $399.00 - $90.00 and the difference in tax and buyers premium.Thank you,*************************
