On December the 3rd , cyber Tuesday, I placed a $2,000 order for a custom built ** at a great discount. The money was immediately taken out of my account and I waited patiently for it to arrive. After a week I noticed nothing was advancing with the order so i called customer service and they stated that i would receive a confirmation email in 24 hours. 3 days later i called because i didnt recieve an email. **************** told me that I needed to wait a week for the order to process. 5 days later I recieved a cancellation email. I called customer service about the situation and they told me they would honor the previous deal because it was their fault and the now price was $400 more. I would have to ***lace the order when the cash returned to my account. After 10 days the money had not returned to my account so I called back and they informed me that they forgot to return my money, but they would still honor the deal. After another 10 days I recieved the money and called them back to place the order, they stated that the order was placed and I would recieve an email in 24 hours to confirm the discounted price. 3 days later, which is today, I called back and they said they forgot to send the email. They sent the email while I was on the phone, the price came out to $2,500 and the sales *** said he would no longer honor the previous deal. I have spoke on the phone with them 8 times each about the ** at or around the previous price. And during this time I have informed them of multiple sales I am missing out on. Like a $2,500 alienware pc on sale for $2,000 with similar specs. But they comforted and assured me I would be getting this pc soon. Now there are no such sales and everything is out of my price range. this is a very big deal. I saved all of my money for years to make this purchase before Christmas and because of their actions I may have to save until next Christmasto get the same thing at a much higher price.Initial Complaint

I sent this to them: "We used affirm to purchase a Trace Mesh. 7700x 4070 32GB RAM 1TBNVME My mother is paying *****+ USD on this junk computer. The case is so thin the motherboard mounts flop around, you used different screws on the motherboard mounting points, you overtightened the motherboard standoffs so they stripped. The radiator is so cheap the provided fan screws stripped out the mounting holes without any kind of over torquing. You tightened the *** cooler SO tight that it bent the backplate and entire motherboard ruining my computer, SO tight that the contact points on the *** have holes worn into them... I contacted you previously, none of you cared and refused to refund. I've had to replace the motherboard myself out of pocket because of you scam artists and now I have to replace my 7700x out of pocket unless you decide to do the right thing and give my mother a FULL REFUND. ********************************************************** ********************************************************** I've been getting almost constant blue screens since the day I received the ** that tells you right there the *** was screwed from the start. Recently I've realized all my problems with hybrid graphics and using the iGPU/APU are because the *** was overtightened by your builder ruining the ***. I've also had extreme troubles getting two different brands of RAM working (My mother has spent so much money trying to repair this piece of junk you gave me when it was all your fault (iBuypower**) to begin with. Now she's stuck paying over *****USD for something that's is almost inoperable. It can boot without iGPU, but it's not stable at all, no matter what. Look at the images."Useless guy responded: "Unfortunately at this time I can only offer to have your system sent to us for a full diagnostic and repairs. Parts and labor would be covered as well as shipping both ways. However at this time we are unable to proceed with any kind of exchange or refund for this unit."Initial Complaint

I purchased a computer that unfortunately had issues from the moment I received it. My warranty was valid for one year, just about the whole year was spent sending the computer back because the issues were not being resolved. As the warranty expired the issue remained, and it was never repaired properly. Ibuypower refuses to fix issues of all compartments because the warranty is up even though this was an issue that was left unresolved even when the warranty was in place.Initial Complaint

Instead of paying for labor, iBuyPower promised to pay for my time and labor with itemized goods. They sent me a faulty item for my payment and refused to send me a proper, working item. Additionally, they took over 6 months to send me the goods promised for my labor. I was promised to receive these items for my labor and time for the first quarter and we are now in the fourth quarter of the year. It is completely unacceptable for a business to request my labor and not pay it properly.Initial Complaint

Ibuypower scammed me. I bought a $4600 custom built pc. I even paid for shipping insurance in the unthinkable event that it doesnt make it to me. The pc never arrived and was signed for by some random person that nobody knows. I contacted them and they were like oh well. I told them Ive been making payments for something I never received. They said oh well. I filed a police report per their request, and still nothing.Initial Complaint

On May 29th 2024 I bought a custom computer from IBUYPOWER.com. I paid $3,187.86. They committed to provide me with a computer that contained 2 Harddrives. The harddrives that were supposed to come in the computer were the 2TB ******* 990 PRO and the 4TB ******* 990 PRO. It did not arrive with the 4TB ******* 990 PRO. I completed an investigation with IBUYPOWER on June 14th 2024 and they concluded that they would send me out the 4TB ******* 990 PRO. I will provide the emails saying, Customer missing 4TB NVMe SSD, sending one out, and Your RMA request has been received and RMA #****** has been issued. Your RMA type is PARTS (PARTS T3/E3). We will send your compensatory item as soon as possible. Please note that you are not required to return anything to iBUYPOWER. On July 3rd after not receiving any emails or calls from them, I called IBUYPOWER to inquire about my part. They now say they will not send it, I do not understand why. I had to go out on my own and buy the part to install into the computer. I paid $391.49 for the 4TB ******* 990 PRO at Best Buy on July 3rd 2024. I am terrified right now because I do not know how to prove I did not receieve something. It looks as though this company has a lot of complaints, and they did not reply to the BBB. There seems to be a pattern of wrongdoing, would you be able to help me with an FTC complaint? Thank you so much.
