Not impressed by any means. I would like to start this by saying Im still in contract with this company but feel its important to post this now as when I signed my contract with them in February there were no negative reviews. As I mentioned I signed the contract in February on the guarantee that the kitchen and fireplace remodel would be completed before August 12th which is my daughters due date. At this point they still do not have a permit. The first two months ***** went to ****** and nothing was completed on my project but of course he said that they ordered rough materials and needed a payment of $11,500. First off a payment for that was not in the payment schedule and second they had not completed any drawings, how could he have ordered materials when he doesnt know what he is building. Then he said I owed him payment for completing the drawings When I asked for them he sent an electrical plan that was generic. No floor plan, no engineering, no dimensions ***** is good at lying to you to string you along. At this point drawings still are not complete. The electrical is not ******************** are still incorrect for windows and walls which almost cost thousands in ordering cabinets incorrectly and no mention of the fireplace. He told me submitted to the county for permit but they had no record of it. Then submitted without a business license, then in July for a like for like kitchen permit. That takes 3-5 days but we are removing walls, relocating plumbing/ electrical/ window and the fireplace. That sat for a month in the county denied due to no follow up. I would love nothing more then to cancel this contract with a refund as he completed nothing in entirety. ***** has the gift of gab and will promise the world but has not come close to hitting a single date given. Im in the construction industry so I get that there are delays but there has been a shady feeling for a while now and after reading the reviews that are popping up I feel its confirmed

We hired Ariel homes to do a major home renovation and signed an agreement for $230,000 in late Dec 2022. We are now in a legal battle and potential law suit to try to salvage some of the money he stole from us after months of delays and poor quality/unfinished work, most of it deemed as unsafe and not code-compliant following a recent inspection. Here are the facts: ***** is dishonest full stop! He has little control or authority over his subcontractors whom he under pays or in some cases doesnt pay. He cuts corners and does poor quality work. We hired a inspector to review all of the work he did and he deemed about 70% of it either poor quality, non-compliant, or blatant safety violations. Example are not bracing heavy ceiling rafters and just nailing them which risks the ceiling failing and falling from its own weight. Not insulating the hot steam shower piping in the bathroom walls which can cause a fire. Support ceiling beams being removed and not secured again. These are just a few.He has very poor to No project management and communications skills. You never know what is happening, who will be there, and what is next. Getting a hold of him and getting him to do basic things were the most frustrating part of this process.Last but not least, h*** take 50%+ of your money upfront (even before permits are submitted) and will use your money to fund other projects. We fired ***** due to missed timelines and poor quality of work 7 months into the project after he took 60% of our money and for that he did these: minor kitchen/fireplace Demo, ceiling / insulation that has to be redone, windows (most of which are crooked and nor sealed, floor leveling, and several 30-75% finished bathrooms that need to be ripped out and redone due to bad plumbing and safety or cosmetic issues. Those are the facts! Im in debt and have hired a law firm to help me get some the money he owes me.

We contracted Ariel Homes to do a full-kitchen and fireplace remodel in August 2021 but after 4 months of delays and disastrous installation, we terminated their contract and hired another contractor to finish the job. Reason for the 1-star rating:1. Incompetence - they failed the city's rough inspection three times and lied about it. 2. Lacked experience, skill, craftsmanship - subcontractors totally botched cabinet installation, electrical wirings, recess lighting, floor installation. They tried to cut costs on rough materials and had little knowledge of fire and electrical codes (tried to put an electrical subpanel inside a coat closet!)3. No project management - subcontractors were left to do whatever and whenever they want. There was no quality inspection whatsoever. They relied on us to do the quality work and hoped that we would not find the numerous mistakes that their subcontractors skillfully covered up.4. Subcontractor vetting nonexistent - the subcontractors were inexperienced and disrespectful. The lead cabinet installer had the arrogance to say, "Damn you!" to my face after I told him that the installation was all wrong (I might have been very upset at that point but I wasn't yelling or cursing at him). Evidently, they did not read the cabinet designer's plan specifications. These were high-end custom made cabinets. 5. No respect for property or owners - subcontractors damaged new cabinets, walls, doors, decors; disconnected ventilation in laundry room, dented brand new appliances. They left construction debris, old appliances, as well as their personal garbage (soda cans, lunch bags, etc) in the backyard for weeks.6. They promised to come back and fix the uneven brand new floor tiles they installed in the kitchen and family room but they never showed up and wouldn't return our calls/emails/texts.
