I was very unhappy with my RICOH 1000 DTG printer that I bought from Garment Ink. They were helpful at first but then they stopped taking my calls. I didn't know what to do. All I was told was that they couldn't help me, that I had to buy a new printer head. I didn't want to spend that much money. But after I contacted RICOH, it was like night and day. They were very helpful, especially ***************************, who went above and beyond to help me fix my machine. I did end up buying a printer head but ****************** helped me with setting up everything and even followed up to make sure everything was working properly. I recommend that if you have a problem with your printer that you contact RICOH directly. I couldn't be happier with ****************** who was able to assist me both in Spanish and English and took the time to patiently explain to me exactly what I needed to do. Great machine but the customer service is absolutely horrible. Not only did it take over 2 weeks to come to a conclusion to resolve my technical help request the representative showed absolutely no empathy whatsoever. Meanwhile I'm being told to purchase a new part due to an issue that arose during the process I was walked through to fix my technical issue. The new part is over $2200 btw this is less than a year and a half of having the Ri1000. After a week of asking "what should I do next" ******* finally responded with -buy another part.Review from dion b

I want to thank ******* and Ricoh for always being there when needed. My machine has been working for long time with little to no issues. This Ri1000 machine had help growing my business successfully. I recommend this printer to other people.Review from the P

The RI2000 has been awesome. There were a few hiccups, but nothing that wasn't easily remedied. Getting a warranty issue completed took more time than I thought it should, but it came through in the end.Review from Chip R

They do not stand behind their product. Maintenance on the printer is a full time job and white ink clogs regularly even when following recommended procedures. For the price of the printer you would expect a better quality product I would recommend looking elsewhere for a dtg printer.
