2-7-2024 Brought my vehicle for an estimate to fix a broken window regulator. Work order did not specify a labor charge for an estimate. Received a call from **************** Service Advisor stating it would cost $716 to fix. I declined and said I would be picking up my vehicle. I picked up my vehicle and was told it was going to cost $225 labor to provide an estimate. The work order had no labor cost listed for estimate. There was no labor provided and hourly labor cost was not posted on work order or mentioned by service advisor. I had to pay the $225 to get my vehicle back.

In September 4th I took my car into the ***** dealership to have my check engine light diagnosed. When I dropped my car off it the fans were running and that is all because I needed to get my AIT sensor replaced. I informed them of this and even showed them the paperwork that I had stating that. They had my car for 5 hours just to tell me it was my Mass Air Flow sensor, which I assumed and said it would be $500+ dollars to repair. I politely declined because thats expensive for a $80 part that can be replaced extremely easily. I was told that my car was ok to drive and that the part should be replaced within the next 2 months, which I replied that i will definitely get it replaced ****. When I arrived my car was not ready for me and was still in the back, upon asking for it he told me he forgot to let his tech know I was coming. Once he went to the back it took him 7 minutes to return with my car, when he exited my car for me to get in he made the comment that my car was extremely hot. Which it was NOT before I took it in to ***** it was actually running fine. Im once I got in my car I noticed that my k*** had been turned and my oil level was on the console and then turned on the ** to cool the inside of the car down because they had the fan on full blast pushing hot air from the engine into the car. I drove the car around front to pick my kids up from my dads car and proceeded to drive to my parents house from Davis to **********, my car ran fine until I got about a half mile out from ************** exit and my car told me the engine was unavailable and proportionate power reduced and the car just shut off. It had just enough power to coast me to the side of the freeway. I called ***** back the next day and asked them what exactly they did to my car and was told all they did was plug in the reader to read the code, but there was also a random piece of car part that came from under my car when we finally got under there to see where the oil was leaking from.
