I bought a used GMC Yukon from this dealership in April, spending $9,500. By June (6 weeks later), it needed a new motor. When I returned to the dealership, they kept my truck for a couple of weeks without providing any updates on the repair. They gave me the runaround, promising to call me back in 15 minutes but never following through. I had to go there in person to find out what was wrong, only to be told that I needed a new motor. Their solution? Buy another car from them and get a measly $1,500 off. Ridiculous! Terrible customer service and very untrustworthy. Avoid this place!

The absolute biggest rip off and took advantage of a young girl car lot!!!! Stay away!!!! Sold a car with a blown head gasket!!! Check engine light on immediately!! It was sold blown!! They refuse to make it right!!!! Bad bad buisnesssssssssss bought 12/10 brought back to them 20 days later 12/30 they said tooo bad!!!!!!! I just spoke with owner veryyyyyy unprofessional!!!! Instead of doing what is right he pocketed 7,718!!!!!And the owner hung up on me saying I was rude when a good business professional would do anything to make things right. He took advantage of a young girl making her first purchase of a car!!! Disgusting at best!! They knew they were selling a blown gasket it had white smoke blowing from it when i left the dealership. They refused to make it right. They sell lemons to unsuspecting vulnerable customers. They did not care I had just bought a car from them that was inoperable. I had to buy a brand new engine. These were the men I dealt with. ****** Shoman and Shariff Shoman

on march 5th i walked in to shoman dealership to ask about a car i was interested on buying. ******** asked me to my credit to run my before test driving the car. i had him run my credit and salesman and was approved on test drive he jumped on passenger side and he had me drive on a side road at probably 45 miles an hour i wasn't even able to shift through all 6 gears before he asked me to turn around. i was not happy but car seamed to run ok so i asked him to rum my payment options. he said i had to put down 5k and said my interest was over 13%.i knew that was way too high so i told him i was going to my bank the next day and started the paperwork for the loan and it took till Friday the 10th to get the car. i drove straight to a gas station because car was running on empty only to find out gas cap was missing. i went to the parts store to buy windshield wipers and gas cap, when i got home i attached my OBD2 tester and found out it had pending codes and originally thought it was due to missing gas cap.on Monday the 13th i drove car to work that's 40 mile commute and on my way home engine light came on.a couple days later had my mechanic scan the car and found out many codes including P0420 and P0430 so both catalytic converters are bad. i called Shoman dealership and they gave me an appointment to look at the car and confirmed cats were bad so i asked him if they were going ti fix it and he said no. i later took car to **** dealership and they found the car was is trashed underneath many suspension parts are trashed and rear tires are not safe to drive. i got estimate for 6.788.78 for repairs not including rear tires. i need Shoman auto to pay for repairs specially due to catalytic converters and tires ASAP due to the fact care is not safe to drive and im not sure how they even smogged car with 2 bad cats. i don't feel is a coincidence 2 cats went bad after i drove the car less than 100 miles. PS i also have pictures of damaged suspension parts,

I used car gurus and found an add for a 2012 ********************* works mini ******. I did everything over the phone and e-mail to secure the deal with shoman motors. The car was delivered 2/15 at my residence. I asked about the turbo and was told that the car did not have turbo. I said but the ads said it was a jcw. He responded that it must be then and that the jcw was the trim. When I got into the car and started it, a service light popped up, windshield wiper fluid light, brake lamp warning light and head light warning light came on. I was told the system just needed to be reset. I then noticed bolts coming through the ceiling about 3 inches long. I was told the roof rack was ugly but not about the lebodamizing bolts coming through. I simple fender ****** could easily be a fatality with these things. I was told that the guy who sold me the car was out that day but I could call the next day. I called the next day with my concerns, except the ice part because I was still under the impression it was jcw. He told me that he would let me return the car but I would have to pay all fees and taxes totaling $1,930. I wanted to have a mechanic look at the car first before I decided. This morning I took the car in and he ran codes revealing several issues with electrical, brakes, and engine running lean. He also informed me that it was not a Jcw edition, but a base model. As I pulled out of the repair shop, the check engine light came on. This was after I drove the car approximately 30 to 40 miles. I called him back and told him everything. He said I had two choices, return the car and pay fees or keep the car. But I had to decide by end of day. I decided to return the falsely advertised, unsafe vehicle and paid the fees. I was also told to sign the reciept stating I would not take him to small claims court.

    * I went to look at a used car with my 16 year old son at Shoman Auto group in ***** on 7/23/2022, found a car that he liked signed the buyers order without being offered a 2-day policy cancellation agreement and left a $250 dollar deposit while the bank organized financing. * two days later 7/25/2022 I signed the *** vehicle transfer form electronically * 7/26/2022 I went to pick up the vehicle and pay the rest down $750.*two days of driving, the check engine light came on, it was the oxygen sensors which makes me wonder how the car passed a smog check.* not feeling good about the deal, we went to return the car.* The salesperson said they do not have a change of heart policy, but even if they were to take the car back, I would not get the down payment back.* He said I would owe them more money because I would need to buy the 2-day cancelation policy agreement and pay for all licensing and registration fees, plus the restocking fees. $1430 * After taking a few days to research, I found the California *** used car buyers bill of rights that said with the purchase of the 2-day cancelation policy agreement contract, which was never waived or accepted in writing, I was entitled to everything back minus the restocking fee once the cost of the policy contract was deducted. * A few days later of reminder texts from the dealer requesting the remaining balance, I brought the used car buyers bill of rights to the dealers attention on 8/13/2022 I formally requested a refund by email and text. He accused me of being a scam artist and pursued other financial threats and to take me to court. They replied by text saying they will not be mailing any refund.*I have not paid the remaining balance of $430 and have NOT reached an agreement with the dealer to be refunded the $750 portion of my deposit.

We purchased a vehicle from this dealership and it broke down less than 24 hours later. We paid $1000 deposit and had $800 in towing fees. We purchased the 48 hour return policy for $250 and after returning the vehicle, they only refunded $250. That leaves my total loss at $1800. These guys are scam artists and need to be put out of business since they appear to be preying on people regularly. These people need repercussions for their actions or they will not stop. This was fraud, plain and simple, and I will not let it slide. I would prefer that the BBB guide me to a civil way of handling this because uncivilized is the other option and I have no problem going into deep waters. Thanks for your time.

We purchased a car from Shoman Auto Group in **** in 2/28/21 for total of $8,400. The salesman stated the **** ***** Civic LX did not need any repairs and was good condition; however, two days after I had purchased the car, the check engine light came on and the transmission was making a shattering noise. I had the car taken to a mechanic to get it checked out and the mechanic stated the transmission needed to be rebuilt and the car should not be driven. It would cost $3,000. I am seeking a partial refund on the car due to the repairs needed on the car since we were not informed of the issue and I had bought a car that cannot be driven until it is repaired. This company was not honest.
