Dishonest, charging prices over the advertised price. At the Peet's location at ********** in *************************, the staff member repeatedly tried to charge me more than the advertised price and lied to me several times. On the lighted wall display of menu items and prices, it said that a medium sized iced tea was $3.80. First he told me the price for a medium would be $5, then when I pointed out that the price was listed as $3.80, he said that was the price for the large (There was large size even listed on the menu) and the price for a medium was $4.60. I asked why that was and he said because of the tax. That is a complete lie because sales tax on meals and beverage in ************* is 6.25%. It seemed like this guy was just making prices up and lying. I asked if I could speak to a manager and he said, get lost. So disappointing to see that level of deception at a national chain.Review from Freddie N

They deserve a ZERO. My BBB complaint to ****** was ignored. It says a lot when a business ignores the BBB and is not BBB accredited. WARNING: their website and subscription will ***** you.Review from Duc C.

Horrible Web/App Experience for Gift Cards. I bought Peets Gift Cards from ****** and added 3 gift cards separately in December '22 without topping them up to my existing card in the app. The Peets's instruction on gift cards is vague, just instructs to add gift cards through web and doesn't tell me that adding gift cards on web would not show on the app, which I use for ordering drinks. Now, I can see all gift cards on web but not on app. I contacted their support line and because I threw away the gift cards, the agent told me that he couldn't help because he needed the full number of cards?? I don't know why because Peets should have all the info in their system. So, bottom line is I can only use the gift cards to order beans from their web but not drinks from their app!! Another terrible experience is they made the Gift Card Removal so easily and conveniently (like trapping users). When figuring out how to combining gift cards myself, I accidentally removed one out of those 3 gift cards just by one click on "Remove" button. And now it's gone forever because the agent also told me that he wouldn't be able to locate it in the system Thanks,***
