    This evening, September 11th 2022 at approximately 6:20 pm my son and his friends were at K1 speed in Dublin, Ca. Another racer hit his kart so badly that the go-kart ended up on his head breaking the helmet he had on as well as the seat belt on his go-kart. The employees failed to help my son and helped the other racer instead.My son had to get the kart off his body himself. The manager refused to come out; no one offered him medical attention. He and his friends could not finish the race they paid for and the employees refused to refund their money. Employees need to be trained better in these circumstances and your management team; that represents K1 speed as a brand should be the only individuals dealing with these types of situations. Especially if one of the employees told my son he should have died due to the severity of the accident. I only hope that you can put yourselves in my shoes and see the wrong of this whole situation. No one did their jobs properly!!! Please refund them their money and email me or call me back with an explanation of actions that will be taken to ensure no one has to ever go through this again. They will never return due to the trauma they endured tonight.

    On July 6, 2022 I paid $59.78 to the business ($7.95 for an annual membership + $49.95 for two go karting races). The first race was fine but the issue occurred in the second one. The race was supposed to be 14 laps but I was only given 11. It was understood by all parties that 14 was the number of laps as when I asked an employee after why it wasnt 14, she said Oh. Youre right. Let me check with the manager. The manager told my group that he decided to lower the number of laps for our safety due to the previous race being very sloppy. But this didnt make any sense as our group didnt race in the previous race (we had one race and then sat out while others raced and then did our second race). Not only were the number of laps reduced, but for 5 of the 11 laps that karts were set to about half the speed of ~45 miles per hour that they advertise. A partial refund was requested as we did not fully get what we paid for but the manager was rude from the get go, saying that he can change the number of laps whenever he wants without telling us and that maybe if we were better drivers he wouldnt have to do this. Lastly, there were a few issues with the kart, such as faulty brakes that brake the car without the brakes even being pressed and a steering that gets locked occasionally. Another employee was asked about this and he said that some karts have this issue. They shouldnt be allowing people to race with these karts knowing that there are some minor issues.

    I made reservation for 5 adult to race go carts and 1 child. When I arrived, computer systems were down. As I patiently waited, the systems went up. They over charged me an extra racer but said they couldnt void the charge and that I can call the next day to get a refund. Additionally, I was unaware the child could not race with us and asked for a refund for that as well. Its been 6 months, nobody answers the phone nor returned my email. Additionally, the employee said I could not use my racing credits in Oahu. However the company in Oahu closed down. Im perfectly fine paying for the services I had received, however I do want my refund for the services I did not receive. I believe that is a fair request!
