I had a water leak caused by a toilet in my 2nd floor bathroom that caused water damage in the bathroom & the ceiling directly underneath.I contacted IAS and they sent out a restoration company. Quick Dry removed any damage caused by the leak & set up fans/humidifiers to fix the issue . Quick Dry originally quoted us approximately $3000 for restoration work. When we advised Quick Dry we were going to contact our homeowner insurance they immediately advised us that the original quote was a discounted price and that it would change if we were going through our insurance. They provided ******************* new quote that more than doubled. The insurance attempted to negotiate the cost because they felt Quick Dry prices were inflated. However, Quick Dry refused to negotiate even after travelers shared a 3rd partys quote as a comp. Since travelers home insurance and Quick Dry couldnt come to an agreement they are now charging me for the remaining balance of approximately $4000!!!The same thing happened with IAS reconstruction quote. However, the reconstruction work has not occurred because *************** failed to successfully negotiate. However, I cannot seek business from a different reconstruction company because I didnt realize that an *** document I signed states that if I go with a different reconstruction company I will have to pay a $1500 cancellation fee. *** failure to negotiate with ******************* has caused a stand still in my bathroom reconstruction. More concerning is the fine print that ties me to - $1500 cancellation fee. In addition, their over inflated prices have caused an unnecessary debt to Quick Dry. The insurance has completed all negotiations with *** and I am in need of assistance with matter.I a

I understand the frustration that comes with working with the insurance company that does not want to pay out what is owed according to your policy.  Our initial appointment is free and includes only a basic estimate.  Without the signed Authorization of the Insured form we would not have been able to provide the itemized estimate to your insurance for review nor negotiate on your behalf.  Our Project Manager, ****** has been working hard and had been agreed on the scope of the project for approximately 2 weeks, but the insurance thus far refused the O&P until most recently.  As of Friday ****** is working on trying to get the breakdown and verify and get the final budget number to be able to get your project underway and scheduled.  Please feel free reach out to my direct cell phone if you would like to further discuss this.

*** did not fully respond to my entire complaint; therefore, it has not been fully addressed.   Quick Drys cost for services is not in line with comparable costs & would not negotiate with Travelers.  Quick Dry is charging over $5000, in addition to $2500 Ive already paid.  In addition, they are  threatening to send me to collections!   Travelers made it clear that they believe prices were inflated & provided comps so the at quick Dry could amend their cost but they have not.  I am requesting that the issue with Quick Dry be addressed so that we can come to a resolution.

Our bathroom had water damage, and the flood remediation company recommended IAS. We needed to replace the flooring and shower in the bathroom. IAS lost one of its key employees and never returned to put on the shower doors or close out its punch list items (e.g., seal the tiles). I still have plastic stapled to our bathroom walls, paint damage, and a shower without a door. They abandoned the job in late 2022. I have been trying to get them to finish the work to pay them and be done. I read their genuine reviews online today, but I should have it done before hiring them. This company is not going to be any help.

I did not file a complaint within one year because I struggled with depression that related to loss of this "**********'s prohibition" family treasure & historic piece, or a sentiment. During this time, I had counseling on other emotional issues that had to do with this family. This company was IAS Builders, its business representatives lost a piece of our "**********'s prohibition" family treasure & historic piece, or a sentiment, that was part of our building when their workers came to tear & rebuild our kitchen floor. I contacted their company ********** **** never responded to me on it.One of their business representatives had a lack of communication with me, & did not return my calls, on remodel work to our building, that caused about a one & a half month delay in our opening, to have let us consequently lose money because folks could not stay in our property. We had customer complaints about this problem. I contacted this same company ********** **** never responded to me on it.One of their representatives sent a worker to service our kitchen stove/oven before & after our kitchen floor was torn & rebuilt. About a month after floor work finished, there was a strong odor of gas smell in our kitchen, we had a gas leak, & had to get a technician to repair it. It was a health hazard, & a danger to our building. I contacted same company ********** **** never responded to me on it. In addition, this company's work crew started doing some construction work to our tenant's place that's on our property, started with enthusiasm, later different workmen came & left, some work was left not finished, & they did not return to complete it; our tenant did not want to wait any longer, & ended up having someone else that came to do it & finish it with much better workmanship & in a much more efficient way.

I needed & wanted to talk to your Better Business Bureau office representative or representatives before going any farther with this complaint, your office was closed when it was a regular work day & I called a few times on this last Thursday & Friday.  An IAS business representative responded to my complaint, without his or her name, signed, thereby I did not feel comfortable to go any farther with this complaint.  Thank you.

We had AIS do an estimate for a repair for water damage which was recommended by Quick Dry to do an estimate. Once we got the insurance approval and our adjustor told us we can use whatever contractor we wanted we decided to get other bids and work with AIS initially. **** who we first spoke to was very hard to get a hold of and then we finally tracked him down. Then we were passed along to ********* who was very incompetent and didn't know what we wanted and was again unresponsive. We would ask questions that would take several days to weeks to get a response back.We decided to go with someone else and let them know. Then they decided to charge us $1,500 for NOTHING! They didn't disclose that just doing an estimate was going to cost anything. We have other contractors bid on the job without charging anything. They don't deserve a ***** and weren't very responsive to our requests for clarification so we moved on because we didn't feel confident they would do a good job. It's a con job to get money out of people for nothing.

Drop the frivolous charge and we can both part ways.

You never won ** as a customer which is the sad part of the entire situation...  NOW you've made it 10 times worse with this BS. You took advantage of my distress about the situation by ******* me through paperwork to sign to get a quote.

It's truly despicable business practice and I'm tired of jumping through hoops.
