We have worked with ****, the owner of Kalabat Construction, for almost 8 years and he is absolutely amazing! He has done several projects/repairs/remodels on 3 of our properties in La ****** Carmel ****** and Bay Ho, and he never disappoints. He is incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful and ethical. It is rare to come across someone who is so completely committed to making sure his clients are happy with his work and consistently goes above and beyond in everything he does. It is such a relief to hire someone knowing that he only has your best interests at heart, makes sure that the job is done right, and that whatever work that is needed is completely resolved-no shortcuts or band-aid solutions under his watch. Working with him is a pleasure as he is always collaborative and patient. We feel like we won the lottery when we found him so many years ago and cannot recommend him more highly!

This is a great construction company. Our family had a tough situation in which we had to move into a house in a new area for us that was without flooring and a kitchen that really needed a renovation. We were looking for someone to demo our kitchen and install **** cabinets that we had picked out. I being new to ********* feel blessed to have found a good contractor like **** and the team of workers he brought in. I corresponded with ****, the owner of Kalabat Construction over the phone/email and he gave me a very reasonable bid. I talked with other contractors as well but decided to go with Kalabat Construction despite not having met **** in person. It's a good idea to meet a contractor in person before going with them but I had a good feeling about him. After meeting ****, I was assured that I had made a good decision. I realized he is a calm, compassionate, fair minded individual that seeks to take care of his clients to the best of his ability. Every step of the way he was checking in and making sure his crew was doing a good job to the very end. Which they did. **** was also very fair and reasonable about the extra things we wanted to add to the Job. He would make sure we knew exactly what the cost would be before we did anything we wanted extra so that we would not overspend. I really appreciated that about him. We also really enjoyed ***** his ********* who had a great attention to detail and loves his work. We would use him again and recommend him to anyone for **** cabinets or anything construction.
