I am writing to file a formal complaint against Airmaxx Heating & Air Conditioning, a Carrier authorized dealer, for multiple instances of poor service, misdiagnosis, and unfair business practices.Issue 1: Misdiagnosis of Furnace Problem Last year, the furnace in my primary residence, installed by Airmaxx, malfunctioned. Airmaxx came for a service visit and diagnosed the issue as a faulty inducer motor, providing a quote for its replacement. However, I sought opinions from 4-5 other HV** companies, all of which indicated that the actual problem was with the heat exchanger, which is covered under Carriers 20-year warranty. My unit is still within this warranty period.I contacted Airmaxx again, but they refused to assist me in filing a warranty claim, despite being both the original installer and an authorized Carrier dealer. I had to find another dealer to handle the warranty claim.Issue 2: Unresolved ** Problem and Unfair Charges On August 5th of this year, the air conditioning unit in my rental property stopped working. My tenant contacted Airmaxx directly for repair services due to their availability. Airmaxx diagnosed the issue as a faulty capacitor and charged $375 for its replacement. Less than two weeks later, the ** unit stopped cooling again.Airmaxx revisited the property and claimed that the problem was now with the compressor, recommending a complete compressor or unit replacement. Based on my previous experience, I decided to seek service from another company and requested that Airmaxx refund the cost of the capacitor replacement and remove the part. They refused, despite their parts and labor supposedly being covered by a one-year warranty.Request for Resolution: I find this unacceptable, given that the initial repair did not resolve the issue, and I was charged for a service that failed shortly afterward. I am requesting a full refund for the $375 I paid for the capacitor replacement. Thank you.

On 8/10/2021 , I had an air conditioning unit installed at my home. To this date, I have not received a final inspection nor a copy of the permit. I have called at least 10 times to rectify. The last phone call made 5/19/2022, I spoke to a manager named ***** He tried to convince me to take the permit fee and not have the final inspection. I told him I want the install inspected. And that's where this stands. I want the air conditioning system inspected and I want to receive a copy of the permit.

We have submitted all paperwork along with a payment to Riverside Housing Athourity and have not heard from them yet. Unfortunately it is so complicated process when you deal with manufactured homes.
We have talked to the customer and she is aware of the citation.

AirMaxx has been in touch with me.  I also contacted the Housing and **************************** in ********* that would be in charge of inspecting my air conditioning.  When I spoke to them, they had no record of any inspection or permit issued for my project.  HCD also informed me that the proper protocol is to obtain the permit BEFORE the project starts.  Until I receive my final inspection and copy of the permit issued, this issue is not resolved.
