I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Granite Expo of Vacaville due to poor craftsmanship and unacceptable modifications to cabinets I recently purchased and had modified by them.As part of my home repair and upgrade business, I purchased five cabinets from Granite Expo of *********, which they charged $1,000 to cut down. Upon inspection, I found that they had converted the cabinets dovetail joints to **** joints, which significantly compromises the quality, durability, and appearance of the cabinets. Such modifications are far below industry standards and unacceptable for professional installation. In addition to the poor craftsmanship, Granite Expo offered a $500 discount to compensate for the issues. However, given the extent of the problems and the impact on the overall quality of the cabinets, this offer is insufficient and does not adequately address the damage caused. As someone who has installed many of kitchens, I am confident that this level of work is not up to par and reflects poorly on both the supplier and the manufacturer. I have attached photos of the modified cabinets and email correspondence with Granite Expo for your review.I seek the Better Business Bureaus assistance in resolving this matter. My aim is to ensure that other consumers do not encounter similar issues and that Granite Expo takes responsibility for their substandard work.

I have purchased cabinets for kitchen remodel (I had a water leak). At the time of the purchase, salesperson ***** stated that if we don't use cabinets, I can return. Cabinets were NEVER picked up from the warehouse. I called today to cancel my order. First I was told that the salesperson needed an approval. Then he said there may be restocking fee of 10% and then he said it was 20%.Their website shows restocking fee of 10%. However, the cabinets NEVER left. Please see their return policy. It states restocking fee applies AFTER merchandise has left. Why would I be charged restocking fee for something that has never left. Why is the fee going up as the conversation is going? I also strongly feel that restocking fee should have been discussed at time of purchase. I have spent nearly 3 hours selecting the layout and cabinets and was only told that returning an item is not an issue. Clearly, it is.All I want is my money back for merchandise I never received. I also don't appreciate feeling like I am being scammed and taken advantage of.
