I reach out to the mechanic to get an expections to see what the problem was and it was the same reoccurring problem That the mechanic had no recollection of the mileage or the parts that was that placed. In early May I called AutoMechs to fix my problem. They gave me an appointment for later that week. When I brought in the car they were not at the shop until 10 minutes after business opening. After I discussed the issue with my car they said I would need to leave it overnight. The next day I went and they said they were unable to get a part to replace in time so instead cleaned my existing part and said hopefully the problem should go away. At this point I was not charged for anything and was told if no check engine light came on to return and pay a diagnostic fee. Unfortunately by the end of the week the light had come back on. I was told to bring it in that Saturday, 5/20/2023. When I arrived that day no one was on site. I called the business and they stated their worker had called in sick. I finally brought it it in again on Tuesday, May 22 and was told to leave it overnight again. They stated they replaced my gas cap and an intake valve and that should solve the problem. I was then charged approximately $648.A week later my check engine code came on and with my car scanner found the code to be very similar to the original codes before I took the car into automechs. When I called them back they stated they couldnt help me on the weekend. Today (6/30) it is a weekday and they are not picking up their phone.
