As someone who has observed how they treat employees and take take take I would NOT recommend working for this company. They are deceptive and TAKE TAKE TAKE all the fees and percentage of commission which leaves the employee with VERY LITTLE to take home. They are taking advantage of people's situation for their own personal gain. DO not work for Hypotec unless you want to volunteer your time and energy to help put money in their pockets. Terrible business model. 1 star is even generous. Find another employer, they don't offer anything beneficial for the employee.

We offer our Loan Officers a compensation of 170 basis points (this is a net amount after all company fees), which is one of the highest offered in the industry. We provide a strong in-house processing team to ensure efficiency, as well as a full fledged operational team to support Loan Officers with compliance, technology, marketing, social media marketing, regular training, and more, all of which have tremendous costs which we pay for and provide to our Loan Officers as part of our commitment to their success. We are an extremely transparent company and value all employees. We are a little confused on why you think we are taking advantage of anyone and we welcome the opportunity to discuss these matters with you.Review from Jennifer C

I have to say, working with Harvey Segal and Ruriels Rivera was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!! I started with Harvey in October, 2021 and just Closed in May, 2022. It was a long journey but I had a lot going on with my finances and was anxious to rebuild and get a chance to start over. Harvey NEVER gave up on me and gave me that second chance to rebuild. He was amazing and supportive during the whole roller coaster ride and I believed in him each day as he guided me through. I experienced lots of emotions, frustration and tears, but what was my greatest joy was having Harvey and Ruriels by my side, hearing my voice, and fighting for me. I am forever grateful for them. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants to go through this process. My family and friends are all aware of what I have gone through and all know how happy I was and am now! YOU ARE ROCKSTARS HARVEY AND RURIELS!!!!!! YOU SAVED ME!!! FOREVER GRATEFUL!!!!

This business is great! We worked with PJ, who was personable, upfront, and honest about the whole process. Smooth experience all the way through with the lowest interest rate around during our pre-qualification adventure. Highly recommend.
