August 2020 ***** Fit ************************ was chipping. Under warranty extension for this problem, ***** sent me to a paint shop to be fixed.July 2023 the paint is chipping in the same places and ***** said if it's chipping in the same spots where it was already repaired, then they can't do anything about it.That doesn't make any sense to me, that response is not satisfactory and I want it professionally repaired/repainted. My car has been garaged and very well taken care of. Thank you.

Performed rodent repair work on fuel injector wiring. ******************************* was the service manager. Had been advised to have vehicle towed to Mid City (engine trouble light showing). Repair work immediately paid for by State Farm. Repair work was shoddy, defective and would have resulted in a hazardous situation (Pictures available). Got the vehicle home and noticed the fuse panel cover was missing. Checked repair work. Repair consisted of **** joint/soldering ?, shrink wrap/electrician's tape. No required shielding was used. wiring should have been replaced instead of pieced together and with proper shielding. the fuel injector to which the wiring was connected was shot and should have been replaced. Rodent nesting materials were left in place ready for the next tenant. Advised ****** of issues (have emails) and he said he would get back to me. Went to start the vehicle a few days later and would not start with flashing dash lights. Advised ****** (via phone), he would get back to me. Had vehicle towed to ***'s ******************* (BAR# ******)who did the corrective work. Mid City is claiming not responsible for additional costs. Can provide invoices, pictures and emails. Mid City charged $370.00 for 20 minute repair to cancel engine trouble light. JDPE

My 17 year old son lost the key to our 2006 ****** Tacoma. We went to our local ****** deal at MId City Motor World to get new key on 12/12/2022. We showed up at 3:45 and they told us to come back the following day, it was too late for them to get to us. On Tuesday 12/13/2022 my son returned to get a key made and programmed. Mid City cut the key but were unable to program it claiming the ignition coil was too worn to program the key. They charged him $123.56 for a cut key that didn't work. I called the service technician **** and complained about charging a 17 year old for a useless key. **** understood and told mew to talk to his supervisor ******. I spoke with ****** on 12/14/2022 to see if we could get a refund. I was unsuccessful, ****** basically told me that he has to pay his guys regardless if they are successful or not. I told him that we were not told that my son might have to pay $123.56 for a useless cut key. I got no where with him and it was an unpleasant conversation. On Wednesday 12/15/2022 I took the truck and useless cut key to a lock ***** in Eureka and he was able to program the key in less than 5 minutes for $75.00 dollars. I called **** at Mid city and told him what happened. I called ****** as well and left a message hoping that he would call back and refund my son. I have not heard back.We feel like we were ripped off by this company and paid the labor costs for inept mechanics. We would like to have a refund for the labor costs. We will pay for the key.
