I have had two projects done by K Designers. Both experiences were great. The installers did amazing jobs! The only thing I don't like and find odd is they write everything on paper, and they don't itemize it, so you don't know what everything costs. 1. They talked me into signing the contract for windows which later I decided to get out of since I was within the 3 business days... so I thought... they didn't honor it because they recognize Saturday as a business day where as I recognized Monday - Friday at the time. I decided I would Not do business with them again.2. My Mom without my knowledge hired them through a cold call or something for several projects. One being for windows. When the cheap plastic parts break, the answer is always "the manufacturer went out of business and we can no longer get parts for that". Well with hers, they told me in May of 2024 that they could get parts.... it is now December 21st and we are still waiting on parts, even with me physically walking into their ************ 6 times, calling customer service for help.... we are still waiting..... plus upon my 1st call from her house in **********, they wanted to charge her $200 per trip to have a Tech. come out and look at her windows to fix them. I live in ***** so we declined that. I would not go with them again. 1 star for themK-Designers Response

Thank you for your review. We want to apologize for the delay in ordering the parts, but as of today, the parts were ordered and the Customer has been contacted. The Customer originally purchased 8 windows from K-Designers that were installed in April of 2007, and his mother purchased ********************************* June 2014 and then another 2 units installed in August of 2014. K-Designers products are covered by two warranties 1) the manufacture warranty which is a **************** warranty for defects in the products, and 2) the K-Designers Standard 1-Year Warranty for Labor and Workmanship. In 2017 Mr. ***** called for repairs and replacement parts for one window, and at the time, the parts were covered under the manufacturer **************** warranty; however, labor was not included, and since he was out-of-warranty by then for labor through K-Designers, he was quoted fees for the repairs. He chose to pick up the parts from the office to avoid paying for a service repair appointment. The manufacturer of Mr. ***** windows purchased in 2007 has since been bought by another company, and are now completely out of business, and the parts are no longer being produced; therefore, the manufacturer **************** warranty is now void. K-Designers had no control or say in this and had no way of predicting in 2007 that the manufacturer would eventually go out of business. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. His mother's windows purchased in 2014 were manufactured by our current manufacturer, so he was correct in reporting that those parts are still available, and have now been ordered. He was quoted service fees for his mothers window repairs because, although the parts are available and covered by the manufacture warranty, labor to remove and replace the parts is not covered by the manufacturer, and she is now out of warranty for labor through K-Designers. At his request we have ordered the parts for him, so that she can avoid paying for a service repair appointment. We take full responsibility in dropping the ball on ordering the parts sooner, and again we offer our sincere apology. He will be contacted as soon as we receive his replacement parts.

Shower panels were wrong, concrete dust all over my house, communication *****, didn't have flooring that was ordered, Main manger was rude wanted me to pay more money out of pocket to order the correct panels for the shower, everything from start to finish took 4 months the shower was only supposed to take 3-4 days max it took 5 days and the last day the contractor did not leave my house till almost 10pm. Many things were promised and didn't happen. This company is super expensive and has no type of communication and their salesmen have no idea what they are doing and promising things that really cant be done but ill do it since they told you I would. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone my dream bathroom became a nightmare.K-Designers Response

Reviewed contract and completion photos and spoke with Utah office. We apologize that the installer did not have the flooring with him when he went to install the bathroom; however, he was able to purchase the flooring in town, and the photos of the finished flooring look beautiful. We also apologize for the delays in starting the project. Bathroom projects usually take longer to get started, and then additionally there were some unforeseen delays with the financing, which pushed the start date out further. Apparently the delays were not due to K-Designers, but the customer agreed that she was also partly responsible for the delays with the financing. The sales agreement signed by the customer listed a 3 wall shower system, in the color white, and with a smooth finish. This is what was installed, per the sales agreement; however, the customer later wanted the walls with laser edging that look like tile; therefore, to change the walls, it would have cost more. We were also unable to install the pedestal vanity purchased by the customer, as the pedestal was too big and could not be installed to fit the space and pipe hook-up properly. There was additional work done that was not charged to the customer, but that ********************** completed for customer satisfaction. We hope the customer will come to enjoy the look of her new bathroom, and appreciate the job we did to give it a new makeover.Review from Kathy w

KDesigners replaced several windows and changed my patio door from a French door to a slider. They started and finished the job in two days. The workers were pleasant, efficient, best of all, they cleaned up their mess!! I like the appearance of the door and windows and appreciate their follow up after the job was completed.K-Designers Response

I recently had the pleasure of meeting with **** from K Designers when looking to purchase new windows for my grandmas home. **** was incredibly knowledgeable and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to explain all the options and helped us understand more about windows. I had K-Designers do the siding work on my house. Love that they had warranty and the price was right. When it was time for them to come and do the work... they did not show up for a couple week. I contact my saleman..he said oh I thought it was completed...(first flag).. then we had this storm come through in the late spring in *********,.. It put one hole on the North side of my house. I called K-Designers and sent pictures and made a claim. They gave me a claim number..(the call was made on July 10th). The claim department stated that someone in ***** will contact me. I waited a month. Contacted the claim department, they sent another email. I follow up every 2 weeks. then Production manager called me in October and said I will be over. So we had to pull our camper out of the driveway so he can replace the work. I warned him it is a split level home to bring a tall ladder. He shows up with a ladder that can be folded up in a SUV. I asked him.. how are you going to replace this...then said oh.. I didnt bring tall enough ladder (2nd flag). I waited for him over a week.. then he shows up... he said I can t do it.. my knees wont let me climb the ladder. He would get back to me. I waited 2 weeks. then he text me and stated oh.. maybe you get someone to do the work.. the siding is at your house. (3rd flag). I said NO'! it is warranty work. a month go by and he calls me and said we will be over in a bit. I said I am out of town and the camper is in the drive way... He said oh. that s ok we can get on top of your camper and change it out. I said NOOO you are not going to do that. He said I will have my guy come by and see if there is enough clearing between the house and camper and get back. I get pictures of the siding completed and he did walked on top of my camper. I am not very happy!!!!!!!!!K-Designers Response

K-Designers has spoken to the Installer who advised that he used the ladder for the repairs, and he did have to briefly step on the *** but did not cause any damage. The photo you sent us, shows your boyfriend standing on top of the ** and what appears to be some dirt on the ** roof, but shows no damage. We also have before and after photos of the hole made by the storm, and the repairs to the siding. Normally, storm damage is not covered by the labor or manufacturer warranties, as it is not damage caused by K-Designers labor or workmanship, nor is it a result of defects in the product from the manufacturer, and in that case, service fees are normally charged for the repairs. The ************ showed good faith in waiving the fees and not charging you for the repairs. We apologize that it took longer than expected to complete the repairs. We value your satisfaction as well as the safety of our Technicians to be able to do the job safely and without sustaining any injuries.Review from Tyler Z

Had a great young man named Torren come up and talk to me about new siding on my home. He was extremely knowledgeable and talked to me about my bad LP siding from 1992 and talked to me about some of the options K Designers had. They seemed very reasonable with pricing and when the time comes around to it I will definitely be giving them a call. Amazing company definitely recommend them!!!K-Designers Response

Very happy with K Designers at every step of the way regarding my recent window replacement project! Im over 70 years old on a fixed income and the marketing representative helped me to find a price and payment plan that worked for me. Additionally, every person representing the company arrived on time, as scheduled and completed the project in the time promised. The installers took the time to demonstrate features that will help me maintain this wonderful and necessary improvement to my home.K-Designers Response
