    I called Big Sky Electric to check problem of wall outlet flashing when light switch turned on or off. He, *************************, checked it out on 7/14/2023 Stated a new outlet was needed and the "live" wire had a problem. I provided the outlet as he did not have one and he worked on outlet and stated it was repaired. He told me to call him if it occured again and he would come back. Approximately 7 - 10 days later the problem happened again and I called to request he check it out. He said he would call me when he could as he was at a job. He never called so I called and texted him. Finally he made appt for 7/28 and then cancelled 10 minutes before appt with family issue. Texted him after a few days and no response. Texted I wanted a refund or I would file a complaint with BBB and he immediately called back. After he told me it was not unsual for an outlet to spark after it was repaired I asked for refund. He agreed and never heard from him. When doing work I asked him if the problem could have caused a fire and he said yes. He didn't correct a fire danger he identified and then strung me along saying he would repair it I paid him $125.00 and would like help getting my money back. Thank you.

    We are writing to you in response to the complaint about Big Sky Electric. We understand that you are unhappy with the service you received and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
    ******* explained that he was dealing with the impending death of his aunt at the time of your second appointment. He was trying to be as responsive as possible, but that he was also dealing with a lot of stress and grief while still managing his day-to-day family and work obligations. We understand that this is not an excuse for not keeping his appointment with you and apologize for the delay. We agreed to refund your money for the service provided.We have already sent out a check for the full amount paid, prior to this complaint being made. Check #**** for $125. We can't recall the exact date it went in the mail but it was sometime last week. Please allow for a few more days to receive the check. We understand the frustration, and again apologize for the inconvenience of this experience. We are committed to providing our customers with excellent service, and will do everything we can to resolve this matter. You may also call or email us directly with any concerns.
