-On Friday September 27, I called this business asking for assistance for a lockout. The locksmith arrived and drilled a hole in our lock, breaking it open. The locksmith said he would return with spare parts the next day to complete the repairs. He also said I used the wrong venmo to pay him and I had to pay him through a separate venmo account which I did.-When I reached out to ***** support, they told me that the same person has access to both accounts and that I would have to reach back out to him.-He never showed up the next day to replace the lock, and we rescheduled. He didn't show up and again and this occured several times until I concluded that he is a scammer.-I called the business complaining about what happened, and I was told that I would be receiving a call back from a manager regarding a refund but was hung up on abruptly. I never received a callback.-I am out $280 and still do not have a working lock.

I called this service because I was also locked out of my apartment as another complaint has said. They also would not give me a price point and sent someone out to my place. I kept asking for a quote and the locksmith kept saying he could not give me one until inspecting the door on the other side which I know now to be untrue. When the locksmith arrived he tried picking the lock with a tool but after a couple minutes gave up on this method. He did not ask me if it was okay to cause damage to open the door either. I had no idea he was damaging anything until after he opened it. When I asked if there would be any price change he again said he could not tell me anything. After opening the door and "examining" the lock he tells me it'll be $300. ******, he refused to give me a quote multiple times of me asking because he knew I would not have let him complete the service otherwise. Furthermore, I never received a receipt and his other device was "down" so I paid him through *****. Now my apartment door and k*** is damaged and I'm a renter. Both statements on the company website (no hidden fees and no damage done) are false advertiser information and not being able to pay with a **** is absolutely shady business practices. I've tried filing a complaint with them and they never pick up the phone or disconnect me.

I called this service because I got locked out of my apartment. They did not give me a price point. When the locksmith arrived he did not consent with me as to the method he would use to open the door. He did not ask if it was okay to cause damage to get into the door and did not communicate the price charge until after he began work on the door. On the company website it says that there are no hidden fees and no damage would be done to the lock or property. The serviceman quoted me three different price points until ending on the highest one. Both statements on the company website (no hidden fees and no damage done) in my experience are false advertiser information.

On Dec 25, I locked myself out of the apartment. I called KeyMe Locksmiths at **************. They quoted me as charging $29.99 for the service call, and a range of up to $200 to unlock. (I believe it was $70-$200). The person they sent out charged me $50 for the service call, and $220 per lock (one for the screen door and one for the normal door). In addition, I was charged $60 for tax. The charge was from ****** Locksmith Corpo. I called after the person left to the ************** number, and they were surprised that he charged that much. They said it should be $29.99 for the service call, and that a maximum of $200 and that their service department would look into it. I called again the next day asking for an update. The person again took down my information and seemed surprised at the overcharging, and also surprised that I was charged for each door, and that the amount seemed high since the person did not change the locks, just used a device to unlock it. I called against this morning Jan 2, and the person said it was still with their service department. He later called me back from a number ************** and from a company called 24 Hour Locksmith. However, they have been saying this for over a week now. I would like an explanation of the charges, and to get back the money I overpaid. I am attaching a copy of the receipt. The company may be hard to get ahold of, since I am not entirely sure what company I am dealing with. Is it KeyMe? 24 Hour Locksmith? Is it ****** Locksmith Corpo? Happy to answer any additional questions.
