We have used *** as our credit card processing company for years. We chose to discontinue services with *** due to our desire to charge our patients the transaction fee. We spoke with *** staff several times and were clear about our plans to terminate with them effective July 1, 2024. We were never informed by any staff member we spoke to that we had any obligation to fill anything out or do anything else to terminate. Instead, we were harassed by ****. He called multiple times in the course of an hour on multiple days threatening fees, yelling, being belligerent & rude, & told us many times he could access our account and see what we were doing with the new credit processing company we are using. This made our staff very uncomfortable. We requested that **** produce a copy of our contract. He was unable to produce a signed contract, & sent us one from another company as an "example." We have not signed any current contracts. Our last day of using *********** was June 30th, 24.We received a statement on 8/12/24 for the month of July that showed us owing $113.74 in fees. We did not use any services in July, and have been using another company for card processing. We were under the impression that we had terminated services with ***. We called and spoke to ****, who told us we had never sent in a Cancelation Request that they had emailed us. We never received such email and **** was not able to produce proof of the original email. Per our request, **** did send us a new email containing this form, which was completed and faxed back on 8/12/24. On 8/14/24, we sent an email inquiring if that fax was received (we have a receipt from our fax machine saying it sent), and asking that these fees from July be refunded. This same email was sent again on 8/16/24. We have not received an answer or any correspondence at all from ***. At this time, we have no idea if NMC has processed our cancelation request. We have not reached anyone via email or phone that can confirm.

NMC has been providing credit card services to my business for about 10 years. NMC went up about $100 above contract rate, forcing me to look for cheaper service elsewhere. I found a cheaper credit card provider and called to cancel NMC services. They would not lower my service rate, so I switched to another company. I was no longer under contract with NMC. I filled out and signed all necessary paperwork that was sent to me by NMC to cancel my account services in June 2021. NMC is continuing to withdraw monthly fees of $101.00 for services that I have not used for the last **************************************** for services not being used and should have been cancelled over a year ago. The monthly invoices showing their withdrawals from my account stopped being sent about two months after cancellation. Now I am again receiving monthly invoices showing they are still collecting fees from my bank account.
