In November of 2021, I started the process of exiting my timeshare. The timeshare exit company suggested I sign up with US Credit Bureau/Smart Credit to help combat any negative issues resulting from non-payment of my timeshare loan. US Credit ***** began disputing everything on my credit report, even inquiries that were legitimate. In March of 2022, I had my first negative **** hit my credit report. At that time I asked how long it would take to get a response to that negative re****. They informed me it would take up to 6 months. I have US Credit Bureau what was done with that negative **** and they refuse to provide an answer. I have also learned that Experian does not associate with 3rd party companies like US Credit Bureau. So what good is using US Credit Burea if Experian will not communicate with them. US Credit Bureau/Smart Credit is nothing but a scam. I want a complete refund of all monies paid to this company.Business response

I am truly sorry to learn of your disappointment with the service we have provided. Our goal is to make sure that we provide a level of service that is at a minimum satisfactory to every client.
Unfortunately, I must disagree with your statements in this complaint. It is wildly inappropriate to use the word "scam" to describe this situation. We have provided credit repair services, precisely as they were described to you at the time of your enrollment
and as specified in the service agreement you signed at that time.
Additionally, no representative of US Credit Bureau has ever "refused to provide an answer". In fact, you have declined to accept calls from my staff when they asked for an opportunity to explain our service and process in greater detail so you can
better understand what we have been doing on your behalf.
Our preference would be to continue providing service until your goals have been met, and we would happily do so. I would welcome an opportunity to discuss this situation and I am confident we can find a satisfactory resolution.

You claim you were not able to get in touch with me. Very weird since ***** was able to contact me when your company was not able to access my account because the password got updated. I also have my emails with ***** showing he did not answer my questions. Your response was nothing but lies, just like your so called services are nothing but a scam.Initial Complaint

My husband and i entered into a contract with VOAC for timeshare exit assistance. During this process a credit repair and resolution company Trade Bloc was part of this contract. Trade Bloc did not work out and the partnership between Trade Bloc was dissolved by VOAC. December 28, 2021, we joined Smart Credit/US Credit Bureau, through our contract with ******************************* from VOAC, as an alternative option offered. VOAC has partnered Smart Credit/US Credit Bureau, to dispute issues while not paying and working with the timeshare company to remove ourselves from the "cancelled" contract. The agreement was they would run my credit report monthly, send disputes to creditors and work on repairing my credit, which would take under 12 months. I receive a monthly email of "disputes" sent in, which I now realize the emails are nothing but basic and generic email generations. After a deep review of my "disputed" creditor, we found there has never been a dispute filed against the timeshare on my behalf. My husband and I have logged into the owner portal, attempted to communicate via email and call the phone numbers provided ************ and ************ on multiple occasions. The phone number goes to a voicemail and messages left go unanswered and the email that at one time was active, is now inactive. No response from the company and their lack of communication and response to our messages, has confirmed they do nothing.Business response

Hello BBB,
US Credit Bureau was able to contact this client on the same day this complaint was posted.
Her biggest frustration came from not being able to get in touch with anyone from our staff to discuss the ongoing service. Because we had changed phone service providers, the number she had been using to reach us was no longer in service.
We have provided her with updated accurate phone numbers and e-mail addresses she could use to contact specific customer service agents who can take care of any questions any questions that might arise.
We were able to answer her questions about how *****************, what to expect from us, and we are continuing to provide service for her and her husband.
We have multiple follow up items scheduled over the next 2 weeks to make sure we are meeting her expectations.

In June 2018, my husband and i entered into a contract with ********** (*********, ** *****) for timeshare exit assistance. During this process they offered a couple credit repair and resolution strategies. The first was Trade Bloc. This was a no cost solution that did not work out and the partnership between Trade Bloc and ********** dissolved. In July 2021, ********** recommended US Credit Bureau, partnered with Smart Credit as an alternative option to dispute issues with creditors while not paying and working with the timeshare company to remove ourselves from the broken contract. On July 19, 2021, I joined Smart Credit/US Credit Bureau and was charged $17.95/month. The agreement was they would run my credit report monthly, send disputes to creditors and work on repairing my credit. However, 14 months later and after paying $251.30 in total, I have not heard anything from this company. They charge my account monthy and I get a monthly email of "disputes" sent in. However, the email is basic and generic. It appears they are "disputing" all of my accounts when only a select few are in question. My husband and I have logged into the owner portal, attempted to communicate via email and call the phone number provided *************) on multiple occasions. The phone number goes to a voicemail. Messages have been left a handful of times. No response from the company from phone messages, nor emails. We finally found a way to cancel the membership as of today online in the owner portal. So we will no longer be charged. However, I want to warn other consumers of the lack of communication, action of their services promised, and no resolve... at least for what we were promised when joining. I would like this company to credit me back the full $251.30 for the 14 months of "services rendered". I don't believe they did anything and their lack of communication and response to our messages has confirmed this.Business response
