LoJack device slowly drains my car battery. If I park my car for two weeks, the battery is dead. I got a new battery, but makes no difference. Auto dealership is certain the LoJack device is causing parasitic drain, but they can't find the device. ******* refuses to remove the device, claiming the contract between the now-defunct ************** [bought-out by Spireon] and me is only for installation and monitoring. So, either way, Spireon has found an excuse to not fulfill their obligation to remove their cancerous device from my car. Instead, Spireon instructed me to find an auto mechanic to remove the device at my own expense. But mechanics can't find the device even though ********************** at long last informed me where the device supposedly is located. So I'm stuck in a nightmarish loop. Horrible customer service, no accountability, and hiding behind its frustrating bureaucracy. Whatever answer Spireon provides to this review will surely twist the facts and truth.Review from Tim N

Wow, just when you think a company couldn't be any more useless Spireon proves me wrong. As a dealer, I would hope that being a vendor of their products they might offer a touch more support to their partners, but when I was finally connected through to a dealer tech support rep to disclose the problem a customer was having with their product they informed me that I was at the wrong department and would transfer me. ****** (******, or *****...don't know the gentleman's spelling) cut me off as I was talking and said "just hang on the line you're in the wrong place." He then proceeded to transfer me back to the call tree to go through their endless menus again, only to select the same options I did before, and end up being hung up on by the phone bot. Not only do I find absolute dissatisfaction with that ordeal I find it hilarious and laughable that their phone bot talks about how they are doing everything they can to improve the customer experience and take care of their customers. God this product is garbage, and the company is even worse. How they are rated at an A+ with the BBB is beyond me.Review from Amy S

This is not a reputable company. I renewed my 3 year LoJack subscription in late April and my expiration date in the app still says expired 5/1/24. Ive emailed them and left messages but cant talk to a person. I was told on email Id see a response in ***** hours. Ive already contacted my credit card company to reverse the $270 charge. Spireon has NO CONCEPT of customer service and knows nothing about coordination or answering the phone. Their phone dial system does not work and when it does the reps cut the call. No one in the company knows what is going on and the customers are suffering along with businesses that rely on GPS installations to move forward in the deal. Hands down worst company I've dealt with. GPS installed in trucks have wires touching ground therefore draining the truck battery while truck is parked for the night (flashing light)Review from Darin K

I received multiple emails from Spireon (Solera) stating I had just ordered a Lojack system when in fact I had not ordered anything from this company. I submitted multiple requests through phone and email and failed to get a response to any of them. Speaking to a real person is next to impossible and leaving voice mails for a call back has resulted in no calls returned. I'd stay away from this company.Review from April F

I would give a ZERO if the system allows it.I had been trying to cancel the account since September 2023 as I sold my units and no longer needed the devices.I called them and emailed them numerous times and was always not available to reach the finance department to cancel it. Customer service said they don't have authority to cancel account but the finance department. Later on, when I finally got response from the finance department, they told me that I am not out of contract yet with a fake document. (I have the original contract showing my contract ended 2022) 7 months later, they still hadn't cancel the account and keep sending out invoices.THEY WILL DO ANYTHING AND NOT LET YOU CANCEL THE ACCOUNT ONCE YOU SIGN UP!!! Well I can see I'm not the only one. As long as you don't need anything after install then it's good company. I was on the phone with 7 people today within two phone calls. Why? Because customer service doesn't know how to do their job and poor installation has to deal with it. I finally got on the phone with someone who actually cared about the issue and looked at the system to see what the *** was doing. He tried to transfer me to installation. I THANK YOU FOR TRYING. HOWEVER, I spoke with the same installation girl and she advised it has to be transferred over from customer support. Escalated was the word she used. So now a week later, 4 calls and 11 people later.....nothing changed. **************** has no idea what they are doing. Train them. Teach them how to move cases along. Show them how to keep customers. BECAUSE I HOLD A GRUDGE. I feel mistreated I will move on to another companyReview from Michael B

Well this was put in by a dealer about a car from.And they track your car if you don't pay so they can find it.So that's the next thing I'm going to do is call them and let them know that your product is not working.It shows my car in ******* when my car is actually in ******* ********* where I live now.I have called seven times and nothing has been done I'm paying for a service that doesn't even work and it seems like it's not the first complaint.So hopefully these complaints make people not want to use your product.And I'm sure there's more than me from this company that has had this installed by you that doesn't work.In closing your product ***** and I want my money back from day one because it hasn't worked The only way I can track my car and find my car It's through my own insurance company with their device plugged into the car..And you don't even deserve one star I wish there was negative stars to be left because you're a negative 100Review from Dallin B

We have had nothing but problems with Spireon since the first day of installation of the *** equipment in our trucks. Took over a month of Spireon canceling our appointments to install and the system still didn't work. FleetLocate app was continuing to give us problems, never connecting the driver to the vehicle, unreliable service connection, and app glitches and problems that were never fixed. I was on the phone every other day, constantly creating "Case #" to be fixed, but nothing ever happening.Do NOT apply for this Service. Nothing but problems and frustration.Review from Giulianno A.

I've bought this company's device "forced" by a dealership in ***** - **.I've traded the vehicle 5 months after buying and today 09/08/2022.called the company seeking for a refund for the remaining time of the contract with the company.The contract was for 36 months,After speaking with a representative I found out they don't refund anything for the purchase.In my opinion it is unfair with the consumer since it is a service contract and has been interrupted due the trade in the vehicle. I've also asked for the possibility for the service to be transferred to the new vehicle and they said "no". The vehicle was bought at ******************* dealer in ***** - ** Again my opinion is that once you have a service contract it should be refundable once you are not using anymore the services, specially because the can deactivate the device the monitors the vehicle at anytime.You can request a refund for "extended warranty" , "GAP coverage" but not for this service? Totally unfair and deceiving for the customer that is not informed of this possibility.Hopefully this company will make it right and refund the remaining portion of my "already paid" contract with them.Spireon Inc Response

Spireon/LoJack are not a party to the sale of the vehicle and are not involved with the terms of that agreement between consumer and dealer and any refund requests should be addressed directly with the dealer where the vehicle was purchased. The cost of the LoJack system includes specialized hardware installed in the vehicle by trained technicians and is typically not refundable. However, any requests for refunds must be handled through the dealership.
