On June 5th. Unfortunately I had to visit the emergency room because I thought I was having a heart attack so I went *********************************************************************************** and as soon as I arrived I was having shortness of breath, chest pain and feeling very weak so I told him that I may be having a heart attack. I was treated extremely bad by the front desk staff and the nurses. I was told to wait for very long time and the only service that I was able to get was an EKG. According to my cardiologist I was informed that I should have received x-ray chest, blood work, and I should of been seen by a doctor at least. However they told me to go wait in the lobby for a very long time and finally after few hours of waiting I felt like I was going to collapse so I asked him how much longer and a nurse named ********************* replied to leave So he practically kicked me out of ER along with other nurses and when I reached out to the supervisor the next day she was extremely rude and unprofessional and kept defending her nurses. I reached out to their patient relations to file a complaint and my complaint was completely ignored because they lied to me about receiving a letter which I never did.

On 11/12/2023 I went to ************* with complaints of chest pain, coughing and difficulty breathing. I let the triage know that I have congestive heart failure and was experiencing significant ankle swelling as well. The nurse in triage told me it "wasn't that bad." I was then taken back for a battery of tests including a chest xray which would have shown my extensive heart repairs and a lung scan which would have shown my decreased lung function. Eventually I was given a covid test that was positive. The doctor came in and asked if I have ever been diagnosed with afib I said no and I didn't know what he was talking about. I was given no information about how dangerous it was to stay in ****, nor was I offered a treatment option. I was also told I had covid but was not informed how dangerous it was for me considering my end stage congestive heart failure nor was i offered a treatment option. I was released from the hospital with no covid treatment and told to call my primary doctor for treatment. I had to wait until my doctor had an open appointment which was 2 days. I could barely breathe at that point. I ended up having long covid for months, having to quit my job due to illness, and recently received a cardioversion to shock my heart back into sinus rhythm because it never converted after covid. I called patient services around 4/7/2024 to complain and was told that it was not unusual for **** doctors to send a cardiac pateint home from the er with covid and afib but no treatment. To be honest I would like for my bill to be forgiven and for the woman I spoke with to imagine my experience with the excruciating pain I felt struggling to breathe with covid and heart failure combined with afib while trying to maintain full-time employment and care for my 2 children.

We received ultrasound service at **** ***** Sand Canyon on 12/09/2023. The cost estimate before meeting deductible or max out of pocket for such services from my insurance was about $263. **** is a category 1 for my insurance (the highest in network). However, the bill comes out to be $1383.57 (account number ************. this is outrageously outside of the cost estimate. In addition, i received a separate bill from **************** which is out of network for my insurance (i did not choose him, i choose ************* they are category 1 in network). This is already a violation on AB 72 and No Surprise Bill *** already. Even on Center for ******************* Services, the ultrasound procedure in CA should cost between $200-300. I want to seek for readjustment for proper billing as they cannot bill whatever they want.

To whom it may concern,On August 12, 2012, I came to **** Memorial Hospital ER due to high blood pressure. After a long wait in the lobby with many other patients, the attending physician, ***************************, saw me in a small office (Next to the lobby where I and more than 20 other patients were waiting). He spent less than 5 minutes talking to me. And then, they had the other person perform the *** on me even though I told them I just got it twice a little over an hour ago with Irvine ************ and sent me home. The total time was less than 15 minutes. But they sent me the bills that were unethically overcharged. The charge description was not aligned with what the physician had done to me. He stated that he had detailed examined me. But the fact was: he did not even listen to my heartbeats or my lung functions.Note: Prior to **** Memorial ER, I came to Irvine ************ They spent about two hours taking care of me (They had done a lot of tests and gave me blood pressure medicines). But their charges were very little.I am writing to you asking for your help to correct the unethical behaviors of **** Memorial Hospital and Newport **************************************************** Please see the attachments for details. Their unethical behaviors have caused financial burdens to numerous patients. Should Medical Professionals help their patients? Not to victimize theirs? We, I and other patients, would appreciate it if their behaviors and practice are investigated, guided, and disciplined. Please advise me on what else I should do to be able to get these resolved to help their patients.Thank you very much for your consideration.*********,******************* ************ P.S.: Reference Number for **** Memorial Hospital: ********
