One born every minute and I am one. I began with a different company that told me that my representative was ****. Apparently that company went out of business (they should have disclosed financial problems when I signed as they went out of biz shortly after my contract) but I was told that **** was still my representative and taking over the contract. I was never sent a contract until last mos (over a year later) and it was unsigned. I told **** that it was unsigned and suddenly was sent one signed. I don't accept it a year later. Then, was told they "reduced" my fee but in actuality - ****, who had not disclosed she was the owner of the company at the time I agreed to continue, had misquoted what had been done with my account. I can only assume because it had been over a year that anything was done with my account and it was the former company that had done the work. Regardless, they did not deliver (either company) and I have no tax relief. I had to negotiate with the State and all former company did was put me in a program with the Feds where they still consider I owe them. I am a ****** to the complicated tax situation and based on what research I did for the former company, thought I was in capable hands to navigate me through a solution. It was misrepresentation all the way. I am still in a bind I am glad the people below received assistance because I personally feel that there was no transparency at all and no resolution.
