            Today, August 24th, 2024, I went to my local Subway to purchase three sandwiches with coupons I had received in the mail this week. Before I ordered I presented the coupons to the man behind the counter. He looked at it and said ok and then continued to ask me for my order. After the sandwiches were made and at the *** system I tried to use my coupons, but the gentleman behind the counter said the coupon start date wasnt until August 25th the next day. I paid and went home to review the coupons and nowhere in the flyer did it say a start date. Only an expiration of 10/10/24. I went back to discuss this with them to receive my discount, but instead they directed me to their *** system that alerted them to review the start date of the coupon. I asked if there was anything they could do and they said no. At some point while discussing this issue they said they did alert me of the coupon start date at the pos system, but I told them at that moment they already made the sandwiches and if I were to cancel the order they would lose more money. Although I was being fair and considerate with them, they firmly stood by their position on the matter. When I asked who the manager was the man helping me said he was the manager. They also failed to give me a receipt so I wasnt even able to go back and see how they totaled their charges. This cost me $37.49 for 3 sandwiches and not being allowed to utilize my non expired coupon.
