They took $5000 to help work out a problem with the **** They did nothing, absolutely nothing. This company stole $5000 from me.Review from Elizabeth W

Paid Benefit Tax Solutions thousands of dollars to help me resolve a back tax issue. BTS told me they would handle both state and federal. After I paid them I heard nothing for months until I received notice from the state regarding a lien on my bank account. I sent my letter to BTS and got an email back stating the person who I had been working with was no longer there but the lien document had been forwarded to the new correct party and I had nothing to worry about. 2 weeks later my bank account was drained by the state and I could not pay my bills. I called BTS and the agent who answered the phone stated he did not know what happened he gave the lien to the appropriate person, he will check and get back to me. I waited a few days and called back when I didn't hear anything, he stated they no longer handled state taxes. I argued but got no where, ended up with a payment plan, wish I had know from the beginning to avoid the additional fees that continued to add on from the state. Then I BTS asked for all my information again, so I sent it to them again. They never filed my back taxes but they did file an OIC with the **** Of course the *** rejected it because of the 3 years that BTS was supposed to file and did not. I then received a letter from the *** that they were missing information from one of the years in qustion. I sent this letter to BTS. ******* from BTS called me back and stated I needed to call and get it straightened out with the **** I asked what exactly I paid them to do? He stated it was a call only I could make. The reason I was the only who could make the call was because BTS had never even filed the *** I had signed for them multiple times. I pretty much knew I was on a sinking ship with them but the *** honestly overwhelms and scares me, plus the had money for the last 4 yrs so I carried on. I am out of space but I could go on and on. Its been 5 yrs and I am completing my own OIC. I would like my money back but their is no one to call at BTS.Review from Patsy F

I paid thousands for my taxes to be taken care of and was told that they were taken care of for 2018 and 2019. Irs just told me that I owe ****** for the 2 years. Benefit Tax Solutions lied to me and didn't take care of anything. When I call their number it is out of service and I can't reach anyone. I would like to know what I can do about this. thank you.Review from Cph H

This company is a scam! Paid them to help with tax debt and now getting a letter that I owe all the way back from 2013! Made a payment and now told I still owe more ! Wish there was a way to file a lawsuit against this companyReview from Lizzie W

I paid this company for help with resolving my tax problem in 2020. It is now 2024 and nothing has been done. I was told by the company that they would greatly reduce my tax settlement. I have not heard from them in 6 months. I now owe even more taxes because of added interest. Don't waste your time or money on this company.Review from Angela C

I have not been able to get ahold of the company in any way.I have worked with them with no problem.I need the results of my case. I have called several times at different times of the day with no result. I have also Emailed them with no response.I paid several thousand dollars all I need is the final results.Also my fear is they have gone out of business.Where do you go from here?Review from Leticia D

Benefit Tax Solutions does not return my numerous calls and emails regarding my case. My case has not been resolved and I paid the company several thousand dollars to help me. A former employee of the company informed me that they may have gone out of business. This is terrible. Beware of this companyReview from Alan B

Our experience with Benefit Tax Solutions was excellent. We worked with ****** and **** both of whom were consistent, professional and supportive throughout the process. They diligently guided us through the process of obtaining all the evidentiary documentation as well as the preparation and filing of the necessary IRS and State required paperwork. It is important to keep in mind that you must provide documentation that demonstrates your need to obtain an Offer in Compromise. Benefit Tax Solutions helped us to prove how our tax situation directly resulted from medical issues that ultimately led to multiple major surgeries. Once engaged with Benefit Tax it took almost two years to submit and obtain our Offer in Compromise. This was of course somewhat slowed by continuing medical issues and the pandemic. However, in the end, our tax debt in excess of $350,000, was settled for less than $5,000. We can enthusiastically recommend Benefit Tax Solution. They helped us obtain a tremendous result for which we are extremely grateful.

I originally started working with Optima Tax Relief and boy were they expensive and did nothing for me. Not only that, when I would call to speak with someone for an update, I would get transferred around from every representative not knowing squat about my case. I later cancelled my contract losing my initial retainer fee but it was well worth it when I ended up with Benefit Tax Solutions. Being the skeptic that I am and coming away from a bad experience with Opitma, I decided to give Benefit Tax Solutions a try. One thing I liked about this company that relieved me of my fears were the knowledgeable representatives who guided me through the process step after step providing me with updates along the way. They never sugarcoated anything at all. Very transparent and straightforward when it came to telling me my options. I started out with 40k of IRS debt and their agent that was assigned to my case was able to settle the debt down to 4k. Keep in mind though from the initial process to when my debt was finally settled did take some time but the conclusion was well worth the wait.
