On September 9th 2023 I had a Company Called Auto Appraisal Network come to my house to Appraise a vehicle of mine. I was charged $495 for this appraisal. Within the appraisal I was suppose to get current comparisons of vehicles the same as mine to see what they are also selling for in todays market. The comparisons I received were 2 different models than the vehicle I had. Those comparisons were also from vehicles that were selling from over 15 years ago. I even called the phone number for one of the vehicles and the owner stated he sold that car 15 years ago. The company claims to have given me current pricing for my vehicle but it was pricing from the car market ***************************************************** the last 10 years. For me to pay $495 for an appraisal that is giving me false information is not okay. I have tired contacting the business multiple times over the last couple months and I get not phone call back. I leave voicemails with my phone number and nothing. I provided a picture with one of the comps they gave me. I had called the phone number and the gentleman stated the car was sold about 10 years ago. I thought I was paying for a appraisal of my car in todays market. That appraisal is now useless to my bank or to anybody that wants to buy the car.

I had my car appraised on July 1, 2022 and was assured I would receive the appraisal back timely. I made contact with **** the appraiser on July 7th and asked for an update. I explained to him again that I had planned to consign my **** Mustang and needed to know the value. **** said he was still working on it and I would have by the end of week July 8. I repeated again the need due to car being scheduled to arrive at consignment place and the urgency of needing this. He reply was he hoped so and I'll do what I can.On the day of appraisal I had to pay in full for services and was assured I have a dollar value of car and a full report supporting appraised value.Today is July 11 and I feel like I have been ripped off. There has been no updates from **** nor finished appraisal delivered to me. Our communications have been via cell phone since day of appraisal and complete silence since our last conversation on July 7 the due date for appraisal.I did not receive any documentation at time of appraisal, just an email from the receipt from SQUARE.I would like this to serve as a complaint and a warning to others that *** choose Auto Appraisal Network in the future. The lack of response and not delivering goods as promised while taking money up front is so wrong on so many fronts.I have already filed a dispute with my credit card company as well.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
