The entire business model of this entity is predatory. Their responses demonstrate their ability to rationalize this away by highlighting the language of their letters, illustrating that they're carefully worded to influence people to pay them for a service that isn't necessary to maintain a license. If their pitch was "we offer consultation or make this easier for a fee" that would be one thing, but the design of their marketing materials is to induce a sense of urgency in those that don't understand their options. I'd draw an analogy a tax preparer sending a notice on what is formatted to appear as IRS letterhead warning you of the legal penalties of not filing your taxes with them. Unfortunately our Federal bureaucracy is so intimidating people don't realize they can simply log in with a username and password to renew on their own.

Fortunately for this licensee they understand the *** system and know how to renew their licenses. But, as he accurately points out, "Our Federal bureaucracy is so intimidating people don't realize they can simply log in with a username and password to renew on their own". Hence the reason our service is so valuable and why we exist and why we have successfully renewed, modified and granted NEW license applications for hundreds of thousands of licensees over our 40 years in business.Review from Kat T

Strongly agree with ******* review. "I received a letter from this company and nowhere does it state "you have two options". I have read it over several times and it absolutely does not state this. Obviously a scam to send money for something anyone can do that is aware of the *** requirements at little cost."Business Radio Licensing Response

************************* response from 2019 that Kat is referencing had to do with a completely different letter we send out called Modifications/Notifications not our Renewal letter and again we never stated that letter said "you have two options". The Renewal letter that Kat received does in fact say; "If you still use the frequencies covered by the call sign that is shown, you will need to renew your license, or you will lose your authorization to operate. Business Radio Licensing has been filing new licenses, modifications and renewal applications with the *** for over 30 years and we can help you file your renewal or renewal/modification for you. For assistance in the filing of your license renewal or renewal with modification follow the instructions below".I believe that is self-explanatory. Don't know what else we can say. I do need to update the amount of years we have been operating and filing licenses with the ********************************* to 39 years.
