October 19th, 2022 I called, on the phone and spoke to representative ****** and made a request to discontinue my DIRECTV service 10-19-22. The Representive informed me that I am paid up-one month ahead- through November 19th, 22 biling cycle. At that time it will be terminated with no further billing. I agree to let it run the cycle. The service terminated 11-19-22. Also all equipment returned 12-05-22. But I kept getting bill saying I still owe $83.48. I don't agree since I have pre paid one month ahead and for over nine year paid my bills. So on January 25th, 2023 I wrote to the Billing Supervisor, at the ***************** office in ******** to kindly ask the supervisor to look into the discrepancy to my acc: # ********. A reply letter came 2-6-2023, without addressing the fact that I called one month, in advance, requesting termination of DIRECTV service or giving me any satisfactory explination as to what has become of my advance payment but wrote " remit the balance due in the amount of $83.48 to the billing address to avoid further collection". DIRECTV did not have to go to collection action for the over nine years I have their services. I just have a disagreement as to the accuracy of the billing and I would still like to know what has become with the 'one month payment up front' as the Representative alluded to that I have. Also, I really did not need for the service to run its cycle: that was DIRECTV office choice. I wanted the service terminated 10-19-2022. I would appreciate your kind assistance so this issue can be resolved.

i called for wifi services. promised us a wifi and tv bundle. upon technicians arrival to install equipment, he told me they dont offer wifi even though i understood I was purchasing a wifi and tv bundle. cable technician told me wifi was a separate technician so i called about that and thats when i found out they dont offer wifi. i was also offered extra channels for a trial period which i was able to call and cancel before the trial was up. thats when i found out about the two year contract that i was unaware of. it was not made clear to me that i was purchasing a bundle under a two year contract. i was willing to deal with it all and accept that we did not have wifi because we had cable. a few months later our modem stopped working so i called customer service to help troubleshoot; the troubleshooting did not work, so they offered to send a technician to help but at the price of $99 which i declined and they told me that they could waive the technician fee if we purchased a protection plan at $8.99 a month. they tried to force me into buying the protection plan. i declined both bc im already paying $80 a month for cable when i was promised wifi. and now im paying for nothing bc it doesnt even work .
