**************** people hang up on you and severely lack competence. For instance, they can't get names down even after you spell it for them. And whether or not you give them your member ID, LA Care still asks for five or six pieces of information. I never have had to give more than three or four pieces of information to any other organization.

This health care plan has a problem. It is not interested in the health care of patients. I totally agree with the other customer reviews. If you expect a positive outcome when you file a grievance, forget it!! Our nation has a health care crisis and the people who are most at risk are being sent down a path that is without quality care or any other care for that matter. How LA Care continues to function as a planned health care for the people, i will never know. I am devastated and I am done filing grievances with ** Care. I have been forced to go without health care due to the ongoing problems with **************** UCLA. There is not any hope left, I have exhausted every route of possibility for proper health care or treatment. I have been forced to go without care and I have been dealing with their incompetance and discrimination from all of the facilities mentioned above. I wish I could get away from LA Care because care is not on their list of priorities. In fact I dont think anything is. It is another exceptional example of corporate greed hiding under the cloak of a business that pretends & continues to function at the price of people going without the health care they need. It is not just LA Care, it is corporate greed within politics. Both parties are to blame, along with the wealthiest. When will it end?When will we be able to take a stand without being policed silent? Education is key!! Our nation & the people need change!! We only have the power to change things if we know that we really can. Corporate greed should not continue to control our government in such a way that we continue to go without proper health care. The U.S. spends more than any other country in the world, yet we have the highest mortality rate. If that doesnt tell you there is a problem, nothing will. LA Care is part of this problem, along with many others. Yet, somehow they continue to operate unchecked. There should be millions of reviews like this one & the other two posted

Get away from this health insurer as fast as you can. I have heart failure and they are are unwilling to cover the tests. I have been waiting for a cardiac catheterization and a 2nd ultasound-echo examination (the first was in 2017) since September 2021, but they refused to issue the approval. Meanwhile, my heart failure is faltering between stages 3 and 4, and I realized they want me to die, without treatment and medication. Get away from these as fast as you can, if you don't want to suffer like me.
