DO NOT GO, if you want to live!!!! These guys are GOD AWFUL, do you know why all these Yelp reviews are good? They ask you to write one before they ring you up and give you a $50 discount! This is a Negligent shop owned by a negligent owner that almost killed me due to straight LAZINESS!!! DO NOT ALLOW THEM to touch your bike unless you are watching them with your own eyes, but I still am warning you DO NOT TAKE TO AL's CYCLE SHOP!

Where do I start, I came in to have my front and rear tires replaced. This mechanic that was assigned to my bike was quite annoyed having to change a tire. All this happened over a 3.5 hour period it took this shop to change 2 tires and an oil change, total of 4 hours I spent at the shop

    1st red flag-
The tech left put my bike up on the lift and walked away for 25 min. The shop gave me some random excuses saying he went to Autozone.
    2nd red flag-
I see their mechanics throwing motorcycle parts around the shop. Not walking over and putting stuff on the ground, but throwing!!
    3rd red flag -
The owner Al got in a fight with man in a wheelchair that owned a scooter to get around in, Al was screaming and yelling at this pool handicapped man, that his wife, and his top mechanic Mike asked him lower voice and take into another area without customers watching.
    4th red flag-
The mechanic was ****** that he had to do an oil change after changing the tires
    5th red flag-
After waiting for 4 hours, watching my bike on the lift for 3.5 hours, tech finally finishes. Once bike is on the ground, myself and Al's wife comment that the front tire is flat, Immediately the tech denies it. AL's wife and I had to walk over to tech to show him. The annoyed look on his face was like a young child's. Instead of putting the bike back up on the rack, he fills it with air. I immediately questioned him, and he cut me short saying it was fine. He took the bike half a block up and back and said I was good to go. I questioned him a 3rd time about the flat tire, and he a

I had a negative experience at Al's Cycle Stop. I replaced my clutch with them, and the day I got it back I took it for a drive, and the clutch jammed. I couldn't shift gears, so they came and picked up the bike from the street. They adjusted the clutch cable and told me it would be fine. I took it to Tijuana soon after that, and the bike had trouble accelerating on the freeway on the way back. I thought it was because of the work they did on it, so I towed it to their shop. Al asked me to describe the problem. The bike would slow down suddenly at highway speeds, and I could not get it to go fast. He asked if I tried to put gas in the bike. I said no, and he told me he would have to check the fuel system. I already thought their work was not up to par from the clutch, so I told them I was gonna get a second opinion. I was able to get the bike to another shop nearby because the bike was okay at low speeds. The mechanic at the other shop asked me to describe what happened again, and he told me the gas I filled up with probably just had water. He had an open container fuel treatment, so he just poured a little in my tank and told me I should put some more in the next time I fill up. That was all that was needed. My clutch needed replacement a few months later, so I took it back to the shop that did honest work. They replaced my clutch, and they told me the last mechanic did not put in one of the springs the clutch needed to function properly. Al's shop does bad work.
