On November 5th, my daughter was playing in a volleyball playoff game with her high school team. I was sent a link by her to be able to watch her game. I am currently active duty military and overseas for a TDY at that time. I input my information which included signing up for an account and then inputting my debit card. I have had to pay for apps or the ability to view a game prior to this incident, so I thought it was normal to be charged to watch this game live online. On November 13th we were alerted to fraud occurring on our debit card. Someone had stolen our debit card number and pin and used it twice in another state to make two purchases at two different Target stores. As we were investigating the charges on our account we came across three charges from a site titled ***********. Everyone in our household was asked if they signed up for this website and no one had. I called the number provided on the website and was able to cancel the "membership" but the email only stated that no more charges would occur, nothing about a refund. The three charges were for $1.00, $59.99, and $9.99. From what I have discovered, the first charge occurred on the day I tried to sign up for an account to watch my daughter's volleyball game. The website states there is a free 24 hour trial and then a charge of $59.99 after that initial 24 hour period. My account was charge ********* hours later and that coincides with this webiste's charges after a 24 hour free trial. I am unsure what the additional charge for $9.99 is for as I cannot find information on the website about why this additional charge would occur. Also, I believe my card information was stolen due to this website as our debit card had fraudulent charges after unknowingly signing up for this subscription based website. I don't know if this is an actual business or a scam that steals debit/credit card numbers and sells them. Either way, I would like to get my money back.
