    October 10,2023 Noir Peony Petite Dome - *************** flowers Order # ***** Amount- $305.18 Tracking - ************ I ordered these *************** flowers as a gift. When they arrived and I opened the box I realized these didnt look like real flowers but translucent tissue paper. They look nothing like the photos they advertise. In one of the ads a woman is smelling the flowers - the ones they ship have no fragrance- they actually smell bad. I grow peony flowers and thats what intrigued me to make this purchase in the first place. I reached out to the company immediately and they responded curtly asking for photos. I sent them the photos and they never responded and continue to not respond to my many inquiries. I want my money back. This company is a scam. Also the premium vessel the flowers come in is thin, cheap pottery. Such bad quality! And $349 dollars!

    After reviewing the image that the client has provided it has been determined that the peonies are in proper condition. We are the only company in the ***** offering *****************. It is our proprietary method. The client mentions they grow peonies however these ARE NOT fresh cut peonies. They are *****************. They do not have a natural fragrance as it is removed during the preservation process. Please see the attached email thread. Peonies are entirely different than roses and petals are extremely delicate in comparison to roses. We do offer preserved roses as well however peony petals will naturally be finer than roses. This is the nature of the product. The client had the ability to choose Pink or White peonies and he chose WHITE. There are images on our website of both options and he personally chose white. Unfortunately as each item is custom made at the time of purchase, we do not accept returns. If the product was DAMAGED, we would have issued a replacement to him in the SAME color.

    I purchased item from La Fleur and asked for a part of the item be replaced due to defective nature of the item. I contacted the company several times and finally got a response with no resolution.

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/07) */ Hello, We have replied to customer. The customer has said that she used a chemical cleaning solution to clean her container. She did not reach out asking for any information regarding cleaning this product as there is no maintenance required. There is no reason for chemicals to be used as our products are naturally preserved. Using chemicals have altered the state of the product and therefore she is responsible for the damaged product. This customer purchased this product well over a year ago. Our flowers last UP TO one year. We are out of any responsibility at this point as the customer has damaged the product on her own. We have offered a discount code if she would like to repurchase. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/11/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I did not use a chemical to clean the plastic container as indicated in my email to the company, I used water- in addition the plastic top after a few months cracked as shown in my intial complaint to the bbb, for no reason- I recently received the diffuser perfume for the quartz diffuser and I will be returning that as I have no use for it any longer. All I requested originally from the business was a plastic replacement only- apparently they do not value customers in the even of defective plastic. The initial email thread states that she has cleaned the product with "water used to clean computers". This lead us to believe that there is a chemical component being used. If it was simply water, there would be no damage to this product as it is made of acrylic and water would not cause a reaction. We firmly stand behind our products and we have no correspondence regarding a cracked lid that the client has mentioned occurred over time. If the lid was cracked, we should have been contacted to replace it immediately as we do stand behind our products. As previously stated, this product was ordered well over a year ago and we state that our products last up to ONE YEAR. We have let the client know that she can purchase a replacement of the product through our APP and receive 15% off of her first purchase. Our products are not sold separately and arrive as a full diffuser kit. We have also let the client know that we do not accept returns as it clearly states on our website. As a one time courtesy, we have offered to accept the return of the fragrance however we will not be providing a return label. The client has been provided with a return address so that she can return the product using her own postage. We keep all correspondence regarding damages, replacements, address changes strictly through email so that there is written records.
