After two enucleation surgeries, my kitten's continued to ooze and his eyelid at the surgery site was opening. Florence Veterinary hospital was closed for a week. I opted to take him to another vet. The new vet couldn't believe the eye surgery was done by a vet and agreed to do an emergency procedure on my cat. He found excess necrotic tissue and remnants of the Injured eye still in the eye socket! My poor kitten has been suffering since 09/14/23. Despite the distance (65 Mile roundtrip), and cost of gas, I will continue to go to the new vet. I will NEVER go back to FLORENCE VETERINARY HOSPITAL located in *********, **********.

I am requesting monies Dr ****** was paid for the testing and care for my ********* **** to be returned to me, plus a written apology from him to both myself and **** for his wrong doing.  I tended to the care of my **** for a few weeks administering her some Carprofen to help her with her temperature and first Amoxicillin and then 5 days later switched to Augmentin. After 2 weeks felt she needed Professional attention. I called around many Vets in the area and none of them were taking in new clients or emergencies, so ****** was the only one avail. After the first visit, I struggled to continue under his care as he was so very rude with his comments. On that first day, I suspected it was a form of staphylococcus and mentioned this to him and he threw that thought into the trash can. As time went on under ****** care and weekly visits over 2 weeks, her situation worsened. I came in unannounced on a Sat due to the growth under her skin front of her chest (that I had pointed out to him every time we were in there prior, 3 times that he showed no concern over, didn't shave it and take a closer look at it) that was near her lymph node had fluids seeping thru the skin. It was finally then he gave it some attention. That day he was not rude to me but a few days prior when I was in with **** for a follow up he said to me he hated me. Unprofessional! 5 days later I came in for a follow up for the drain he had put in the chest area. He took a sample to be sent out for C&S. This should have been done on day one! On this day I informed him I was leaving in a few days for my Summer home in the MidWest. He then said Great, the sulphur smell in the area will finally leave. He then said it was because I was the Devil and the smell of sulphur is the sign of Satan. Thru another Vet and proper test -staphylococcus, mersa. 4/5 Priority Biopsy...again another sample not sent properly $308.004/11 Exam, C&S, and drugs that were obviously not working $348.96, total due $656.96
